Chapter 11

They continued playing ToD for a while before Nana looked at the clock. It was midnight. She tapped Zane on the shoulder and pointed to the clock.

"Oh," Zane got up, holding his hand out to Nana, who took it and pulled herself up.

"Well, we should go. Shuichi doesn't like Nana out too late, despite the fact she's in her late 20s," Zane sighed, heading to the door.

"Alright! See you two later!" Aphmau smiled as they both walked out.

"Are you sure we shouldn't ask Nana about the scars?" Katelyn asked.

"She'll tell us when she's ready," Aaron sighed, "Aph, do you wanna ask Zane and Nana if they wanna join us when we go shopping for baby clothes?"

""Mmhm. I'll text Zane tomorrow," She replied.

Katelyn looked over at her current girlfriend, "Four more hours of flirty girlfriend who's meant to be my boyfriend"

"You know it, baby," Travina laughed.

Zane and Nana started walking home, Nana broke the happy facade she was using.

"I can't believe I let them see the scars! How did I let that happen?! I'm an idiot!" She cried.

"Hey, no you're not," He squeezed her hand, "It was a little mistake, don't fret over it"

They walked into the house and were met with Ichi packing a large suitcase, wearing his work suit.

"Ichi, what are you doing? It's midnight..." Nana asked him, looking down.

"Oh! Nana, Zane. You're home!" He smiled, "My boss just called me to the airport. Sudden business trip thing, I'll be back in a few weeks"

"Alright," Nana hugged him when he finished packing. The pink and black couple helped him bring his bags out to his car. 

They walked back inside as Ichi drove off. Nana sat on the white couch, running her hands across her scars.

Zane sat next her, putting his arm around her as he turned on the TV. He had it set to the DVD player and had a My Little Horsie DVD in so he and Nana watched that, eating popcorn and other things.  

"Pinkie Cake, don't do it. It's not safe-" Zane leaned forward, staring at the pink horse on the screen. 

"Twilight Shine, stop her!" Nana cried, hugging Zane. 

They kept anxious watching the TV, as the group of brightly coloured horses walked into the cave. 

They had watched for about an hour before Nana fell asleep. Zane laughed and picked her up, carrying her upstairs to their room and tucking her into bed.

He went downstairs and turned the T.V off and returned upstairs and got into bed with his girlfriend.

Not relevant to the story, still Mystreet though. I just realised something...

Aphmau and Zane are the only best friends that still appear in the main series together.

Like, Garroth is still appearing in Mystreet every season, but Laurance stopped appearing after Season 3.

Lucinda has appeared in every season pretty much, but like her brother, we haven't seen Cadenza since Season 3.

Travis has appeared in every season and while Dante has "Dante and Travis: The Show" he hasn't appeared in the main series for a while.

Katelyn has appeared in every season but Nicole hasn't been there for a while.

I'm really hoping we see Laurance and Dante in Season 6, especially with the current condition of their best friends. They're also all meant to be main characters, bar Cad.
