"Baby, Don't Cut" | Zane~Chan AU (COMPLETED)

Chapter 2

It had been a week, Nana had managed to keep her promise to Zane for that week. She hadn't cut but she still wore long sleeves, no one else could know. 

She woke up and grabbed her phone, which had a text from Zane on the lockscreen.

Zane~Kun: Come over to my house. I've got a surprise for you.

Me: Ok, I'll be there in an hour. Love you.

She sat her phone down before it buzzed again. She picked it up and saw Zane replied.

Zane~Kun: Love you too. I always will.

She allowed herself to blush a little as she got out of her bed, making it again and heading into her closet to pick something out. Eventually she settled on a grey and white striped top with a pink skirt, with pink flats.

She changed and pick her hoodie on, it didn't match the outfit she had on at all, but she wasn't wearing it for that. She was wearing it to hide the scars.

"Ichi, Kawaii~Chan is going!" She called out to her older brother, whom she lived with. He was one of the only siblings that didn't mind Kawaii~Chan.

"Ok! Going to Zane's house?" He asked as she got downstairs to the lounge room.

Kawaii~Chan nodded, "Yeah. Could you call Nico and ask her to pick Kawaii~Chan up?"

He nodded, "Of course. She's off work today anyway"

"Are you going to work today?" She asked, reaching for her handbag.

"In an hour so I probably won't be here when you get home. Take your keys with you, Nico handed hers in when she moved," He told her.

"Keys are in Kawaii~Chan's handbag," She said, "Bye, big bro!"

"Bye, Nana!" He said as she left.

She closed the door behind her, heading over to Zane's house, which was a few blocks away. They used to live closer, but since Katelyn moved in with Travis after they started dating, Nana didn't like living alone so her oldest brother let her move in with him. Travis and Dante didn't live together anymore as Dante moved in with Nicole and Jenna, who, somehow became quite close friends.

Zane called her halfway there, "Kawaii~Chan, hurry up"

Going by the fact he was calling her Kawaii~Chan, other people were there, he did live with Garroth and Laurance after all.

"Kawaii~Chan's on her way!" She fake giggled, Zane always had her on speaker so she couldn't say 'I' if he was using Kawaii~Chan to refer to her.

The phone line went dead.

"Alright, everyone. We have to show how much Kawaii~Chan means to us! Is everything ready?" Zane asked, shutting his phone off.

Aphmau got a batch of cookies out of the oven, placing them on the kitchen island, "Ready!"

"Good, now hide everyone," He told them, ducking behind the brown couch.

Everyone found hiding spots and hid.

A few minutes later, the door opened, and Kawaii~Chan's voice could be heard, "Zane~Kun, Kawaii~Chan is here!" She looked around the room, not seeing anyone, "Zane~Kun?"

After a few more seconds of silence, everyone came out from their hiding spots.

"Surprise!"

Kawaii~Chan hissed but then started giggling as Zane hugged her.

"You did all this for Kawaii~Chan?" She asked, hugging Zane back.

Katelyn nodded, "Zane told us you've been pretty down in the dumps lately so he called us all over here and we set this up"

"Hope you like it," Travis smiled, putting his arm around Katelyn, surprisingly she let him. They shared a bed so Katelyn had to get used to Travis being closer to her.

"Like it? Kawaii~Chan loves it!" She giggled.

She really did. Her friends doing all this to cheer her up meant the world to her, she knew Zane would try his hardest to make her feel appreciated.

For the next few hours, they spent it playing games and eating. The couples were made to play 7 Minutes in Heaven with each other.
