Chapter 13

Aphmau ran around the baby clothing aisle, grabbing everything she found cute.

"Aph, please, we can't buy all that," Aaron said between laughs.

"Yes we can! Because we're not paying for these! Rachel is!" She giggled.

"Wait, why'd you get my mum involved in this?!" Aaron yelled before he realised, "Oh..."

"Do you think they'll be a werewolf or a human, because I really wanna buy hooded onesies but I don't want their ears to be squished!" Aphmau cried.

Zane laughed, interjecting into the conversation, "They'll most likely be a human, Aph. You're not a full grown werewolf yet, so it's unlikely they'll be a werewolf"

"Alright, good! Because I found some really cute ones in the next aisle!" She grabbed Aaron's hand and dragged him to the next aisle. 

Zane laughed, following them. He hadn't told them about Nana yet, Aphmau was so happy, he couldn't upset her now. 

"See?!" Aph picked up a blue hooded baby onesie, "It has a little Seabunny on it!"

Aaron laughed, pointing to the trolley, Aphmau put it in. Zane watched them, "Hey, I found one"

Aphmau ran over to them, and stared at him, he got it off the rack and held it out to her.

"Aww, they can be like their godfather!" She giggled.

The onesie in question was black and white stripped, something Zane was wearing now. Aphmau put it in the trolley, and kept looking for onesies.

They found all the clothes they wanted and Aphmau texted the total to Rachel, who transferred the money to Aaron's account. Aaron sighed, swiping his card.

Aphmau ran out with the bags, Aaron and Zane followed her, laughing. 

"Can we get lunch now?" Aphmau asked, her stomach growling. 

Aaron laughed, "Sure, babe"

"Let's put these in the car first," Zane said, walking to the car. 

Aarmau followed. They started loading the bags into the car.

Just as they loaded the last bag into the car, Zane got a call from Katelyn.

He answered, Katelyn didn't call often.

"Oh good, you answered, Nana hasn't been answering her phone. Which is weird, she normally does. Did anything happen to her?"

"No... She should be fine... I'll call her, maybe her phone was just flat," He mumbled.

"Alright, good luck," With that Katelyn hung up.

Zane immediately dialed Nana's number and sure enough she didn't answer him. All of a sudden, he had a bad feeling.

"I gotta go home," He said suddenly, before walking off. 

"Ok...?" Aphmau tilted her head in confusion.

He started running home, running to the bathroom.

"Nana! What's going... On?"
