New Ultimate Move

Not too long after the attack and Bakugo's return, we all received a letter in the mail followed by a visit by our teachers, stating that U.A. will have dormitories for it's students. With only three days to build it, Height's Alliance would be our new, temporary resting place. My parents were completely for it and were very supportive about it. I couldn't believe how much they trusted U.A., not that I was complaining or anything. It took all day to move in but I eventually did. All we had to move was several science books, a teddy bear, and many other things. I had curtains, bed sheets, and rugs that all were black with my favorite color. At the end of the day, the girls came up with a plan to reconnect the class; after the rescue, the class felt disconnected from one another. They hosted a contest to see who had the best room. As cool as I thought my room was, I only came in the top three in the contest. Sato only won because of his delicious, fluffy, scrumptious cake; I hated to admit it but it was actually good. I was having a hard time sleeping that night. I was so used to sleeping in my own bed and having parents right down the hall from me. I was placed on the 4th floor at the end right next to Bakugo. Also on my floor was Kirishima and Shoji. I wanted to listen to music but I knew Bakugo wouldn't like that. Despite my sleeping problems I was eventually able to fall asleep.

Because of the night before, I missed breakfast but I was able to munch on some toast as I walked to school with Ururaka and Iida. Iida the entire way there lectured me about how I should wake up earlier to properly eat breakfast. Breakfast fuels the mind and body, preparing it for the knowledge that it will soak up that day. As true as he was, I didn't pay him too much attention. We made it to class and it started out normal but this time, three other teachers joined Mr. Aizawa. Our other teachers Ms. Midnight, Cementoss, and Ectoplasm began to talk to us. They explained to us that the Provisional License Exam was approaching and that we needed new ultimate moves. Ectoplasm gave examples of ultimate moves like Iida's Recipro and my air bullets. We both felt proud when he acknowledged us; it definitely was an honor.

"Thank you sir!" Iida and I said as we held our chests.

"Yeah..." Ectoplasm said looking at us, "You'll need a move that will blow the competition away."

"A move that is unique to you that nobody could dream of copying." Ms. Midnight said picking up on Ectoplasm. "Make sure it's easy to say and pronounce!"

We all were escorted to Gym Gamma where we were able to experiment with our quirks and go all out. Ectoplasm made several clones for us to train with. My clone instructed me to just train for combat and change up my style.

"Your ultimate is pretty good but we need to make it more powerful. Also, have you tried putting out two different gases at the same time?" Ectoplasm instructed as he landed from my attack.

"Yes sir!" I yelled full of determination.

Over the several days we trained, I made a few changes to my costume. I put reinforcements on my arms and legs, mostly elbows and knees, so that when I use my quirk to attack, I would take less damage. I also gave myself goggles; I got the idea from watching Aizawa. I didn't want people to learn about my second quirk. If people saw my eye's change color, they would be able to adapt to me. I also added a few design changes to look more aesthetically pleasing. Picking up on Bakugo's costume, I added little canisters that I could store any gas in, ranging from impact grenades to containers. They could either be used for support or offense, providing oxygen or spreading miasma.

It was almost the end of the week... a few more days until the license exam when Midoriya surprised everyone. All Might, with his frail figure, came to visit and see our progress when a large piece of debris went barreling towards All Might.
