I can remember the day that the League of Villains invited me to their cause. I was on my way to school, before they had dorms, when a black and purple portal appeared in front of me. I jumped back in surprise but a hand came out from it and grabbed my collar. Before I knew it, I was forced into the portal. The next thing I knew, I was sitting on a bar stool with my head down in a bar. To my left was a guy who had weird skin stapled to him; I later learned his name was Dabi. To my right was a blue haired guy with wrinkled skin; his name was Tomura. I leaped up after realizing the situation, falling out of the stool and crawling away.
"Where am I? Who are you people?" I said sitting and leaning against the wall. I raised both hands at them, ready to blast them with my quirk.
"Ah, you're finally awake." Dabi muttered.
"Calm down, calm down." Tomura stood up with his arms open like he was welcoming me. "We are just here to talk."
"Why was I unconscious?" I raised my hand at him, signaling him to not come any closer.
He stopped in his tracks and lowered his arms. "I apologize for knocking you out. I thought that if we didn't, you would try to fight us. We had to kidnap you because we knew you wouldn't follow some strangers. Think about it. We just have a request and afterwards, if you decline, you can go."
I lowered my arms, giving them a chance. They could've done anything they wanted to me while I was out so I gave them a little slack.
"We are The League of Villains. My name is Tomura and this is Dabi." He presented the strange guy but he didn't move. "We just wanted to ask if you would like to join us."
Before I could object about joining villains, he interrupted me.
"Now hear me out. We here at the League of Villains have a goal in mind. People have become too relaxed and calm ever since All Might came to town. There are a lot of dangers in this world and because of All Might, people forgot how to be careful and wary of their surroundings. Just by walking down the street, at any moment someone could murder someone else. Our goal is to remind people that there are bad things in this world. We may have to get our hands dirty, but we have a good goal in mind. You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette. So do understand?" As he performed his speech, I didn't even realize that he knelt beside me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
I looked down and thought about his words, evaluating each word carefully. He had a good point. There are bad things in this world and people are too safe to think about it. People need to be reminded that at any point, disaster could strike. I looked at my hands as they shook; I began to imagine blood all over my hands. I clenched my fists and looked up at him. "I'll join. You're right. People need to be reminded of the evil in the world. Honestly I didn't want to be a hero, I wanted to be someone who helped people, and this is the only way that I can help people. I'll carry everyone's sins on my back for the good of the world..."
He smiled and helped me up, "Good, welcome to the family. What should we call you (Y/N)?"
I wasn't too surprised that he knew my name. Two names popped in my head, Hurricane... or Toxic. After my inner turmoil was over, I had decided. "I guess my villain name could be... Hurricane."
"Alright Hurricane, " He said as he handed me a burner phone. "Your initiation will be tonight. I'll text you the details later. You're free to do whatever you want now." He went to sit at the bar and began to think to himself.
That night, I was instructed to vandalize a crooked man's shop, Arnold Schrödinger. In the front of his business he was a loan shark. The underside of his business consisted of forcing surrounding stores to give him money for "protection." Those who refused were welcomed to their shops being vandalized. He had three guys who were powerful and were titled the muscle of his business. It became so bad that a few shops had to close down. Even though I was only ordered to "put him in his place," I had other plans in mind.
