With our Provisional Licenses in hand, we all were excited to use them. I went to the Development Studio to rent my costume out for a weekend and patrolled the town. As I walked, people stared, approached me, and cheered me on. Even though I wasn't officially a hero yet, some people still remembered me from the Sports Festival. I started early morning and walked all day without a problem. There were a few instances of helping people do minuscule tasks but I was always happy to help. Even if there was no crime to fight, I was able to ease people's nerves just by being near. I didn't just walk around, I was productive enough to spread my name. To entertain kids I would release a gas that smelled good and asked them to guess the flavor.

"Maybe when I grow up, I can release a signature smell; that way, people will know when their hero is near." I jokingly thought to myself.

Conversing with random civilians and trying to make a name for myself, I was happy that I could act like an actual hero. Though, being a hero wasn't my goal, it was a stepping stone to accomplish my real goal. To spread joy and happiness, being a hero was necessary. I began to hover around the market side of town where several stores, shops, and restaurants were. Villainy tends to hang around where money is. I flew to the top of a building and used my eye quirk to look around and scan the area. There were a couple shady people stalking a bank nearby. I flew high in the air and stealthy headed for the building across from the bank, hoping to get a better view of the potential situation. As I was about to land on the roof, I saw someone peeking over the ledge. I thought that it could either be another hero waiting to strike or another villain being the lookout. Just before I could land and question them, a loud explosion shook the area causing me to fall on my behind. Good thing the loud noise masked my accident.

The individual spoke into a radio with a feminine voice, "We got it boss! We're on our way to the hide out!"

I immediately knew why she was up here. I stood up and launched towards her. I cupped my hand over her mouth and pumped her full of knock out gas. I had to move swiftly so she couldn't use her quirk to attack back. Heroes were issued a device that they could plant to alert cops of an area of interest, so I handcuffed her and placed a beacon on her. Looking over the edge, I could see far down the road two suspects fleeing at a very high speed. I launched in the air and took off as fast as I could after them. I had to admit, it took a lot of effort just to catch up. One figure seemed to be a tall, thin man and the other was a muscular woman, both riding in a rather nice vehicle.

"Well to get to their boss, there needs to only be one of them." I thought. "Maybe they'll lead me to them."

As I caught up, the buff woman, in the passenger's seat, turned and pointed at me. The man turned to look at me and faced the road. Assuming he ordered her to do something, she stood up in the seat and leaped towards me.

All brawn and no brain. I simply extended a hand and shot a very potent bullet of gas to knock her out. She went out like a light and I stopped to hand cuff her and place a beacon on her. I knew the two suspects I caught would be knocked out way longer than it would take for the cops to arrive so I left her there.

"Those beacons can only be removed by a special magnet only possessed by the authorities so even if someone came and got their bodies, they would still be able to be tracked." I thought as I flew higher up. "This is going to be too easy."

I used my eyes to watch the villain as I kept my distance. I noticed he was headed for a police blockade full of cars and vans and knew it was over. To my surprise, the car morphed as a roof appeared out of thin air and the entire car changed from red to black. He sped up, the officers ran away for cover, and the car went barreling through without a problem, sending vehicles flying everywhere.
