Demon growls and screams could be heard throughout the white place we were now situated in. There was no difference with Mika, who still refused to bring down the dark wall that surrounded his area.

"Hey, Yuuichiro." Yoichi walked up to me with a very tall man with light, tousled hair with sharp fangs and pointed ears and he also had long black horns that sprouted from his head. He was wearing a long black coat that was open in the front that revealed his body with matching pants and boots. He was also wearing fingerless gloves and he had a curse, tattoo across the left side of his face.

"This is my demon Gekkōin." The man was very intimidating to look at but surely looked as if he could take us all down with just his pinky finger.

"Where's your demon Yuu?" I turned around to look at the black fog then back at Yoichi. He nodded in understanding then motioned for his demon to bend down. He whispered something into his demons ear to which his demon nodded then walked inside of the black fog.

Loud screams were heard from behind the black fog. Judging by the Concerned look on Yoichi's face he thought something bad happened just as how I thought.

A minute passed as the screams turned silent. Gekkōin came out holding Mika's upper arm in a vice-like grip. He was struggling greatly using everything he could to make the demon let go of him.

He turned to Mika, whispering something in his ear. Mika calmed down right afterwards making me quite curious as to how he did that.

"Now where are the other three idiots," I asked the others. Gekkōin pointed to an area that was directly behind me with the three along with their demons. Kimizuki's demon was sitting on the floor with a huge evil smile on her face while the other demons held blank expressions as they stood behind them.

"Show him what you showed me." I turned to look at the two who were talking quietly to one another. Mika had his head down while grabbing his other arm as Gekkōin was pushing him closer to me.

"N-No." Mika quietly whispered that anyone could barely hear. "I-I showed you by accident. You were never supposed to see that." Mika had a terrified look in his eyes that had me concerned greatly. I moved closer to Mika to which he took a couple of steps back away from me. Before he could take more steps back Gekkōin grabbed his arm in a tight hold.

Gekkōin motioned me forward with his fingers. Mika's eyes widened in fear as I continued to step closer to the pair.

"NO!" He thrashed around more and more with every step that I took.

"Grab his arm." Gekkōin patiently instructed as I latched my fingers over his boney arms.

In a flash, I was in a bunch of pain while looking into a blurry grey, white room. The pain was coursing through my veins as I tried to move my limbs.

My limbs were being chained down to the point of where I couldn't even move a muscle. There was even a chain around my stomach attached to each side of the walls to keep me in place.

I felt completely helpless as I couldn't move nor fight against what was hurting me. Tears that I know were there were disappearing into the clear water.

What really weirded me out was that I didn't have any control over my body like I was looking through the eyes of another. Was this what Mika was experiencing constantly.

He doesn't deserve to be in pain anymore. After all the things that he had been through throughout his life, he doesn't deserve to be in pain anymore. It looked as if it was a memory rather than something in the present.

It might have been a brief memory but it was still there.

Mika had tears in his eyes that were threatening to fall down at any moment. Fear was laced in his eyes as Gekkōin's grip on his arm got even tighter.

Mika was crying out in pain while the part where Gekkōin was turning red. I rushed over wrapping my arms around Mika who finally got out of Gekkōin's tight grip on his arm.

He held his arm tightly to his body as I hugged him to me.

Signals were going through my body telling me to protect the person in front of me with my very being. The others were walking up towards us fast with their demons right behind them with curious looks on there faces.

I sat down onto the floor while also pulling up Mika's hood above his head. "Don't worry I will protect you. Nobody will ever hurt you ever again." I whispered into his ear. There was a certain being inside me that was going to protect him from all the people around him if they ever tried to hurt him.

I would not hesitate to hurt someone if they dare lay a hand on the trembling boy I was hugging to myself. He was mine and I wasn't going to let anyone else have him.

I plopped down onto the ground with Mika sitting beside me with his hands in his lap. He was fiddling with his hands nervously in his lap while peaking up every once in a while.

The others soon joined us on the ground. His hood was still up and over his head to hide his face while the others bent over a little so they could see him.

I gave them deep glares before sliding closer to Mika. For a weird reason, all I wanted to do was be closer to Mika. It weirded me out for a split second but I soon brushed it off by doing it anyway.

He didn't move nor flinch when I pulled him into my side so he could lean on me. He looked so fragile. Like a living porcelain doll that was fragile to the touch. Like if you touched it, it would shatter into a million pieces.

It was silent for a few minutes. Shinoa looked like she wanted to say something but instead decided to stay quiet.

"Yuu is that your demon." Mika tensed then relaxed into my side once more.

"Yes, his name is Mikaela." I pulled him into my side protectively. He didn't move nor fight back against me. He was more like a lifeless doll than a live person.

The people sitting beside me kept giving glances towards Mika who continued to stay silent.

"Is that the person who took control of you while you were against that Nobel." Silence filled the space as I hesitated with my answer.

"Yes. Yes it is." Shinoa glared at Mika when she heard my answer and was about to stand up but hesitated when she saw my fierce glare.

"I-I di'didn't mean t-to." Mika stuttered furiously, looking up at all of them. His hood flying down in the process. My instincts took fourth to hide him from everyone so I grabbed him by his midsection, pulling him into my lap, while also pulling the hood back up.

A part of me was itching to get outside and keep him away from the rest of the world. To spoil him with everything that I can.

Once his hood was back up I pulled him back off my lap and back to lay against my side.

"Suuurreee you didn't." Something inside me snapped. I stood up with the full intent to kill Mitsuba but was stopped by Mika who trembled at my side furiously.

"I-It's alright Yuu." The other demons looked at him curiously while Yoichi had a sad look on his face.

"Lots of people would react the same way if they saw the man who killed their family," Yoichi said trying to make the situation better than it was.

"I'm done with this," I said then did the same thing that I do when Mika kicks me out of my mind to talk to him. The world slowly started to come back to me, showing that it was day outside.

The others slowly started to wake up including Shinoa who glared at me then left the room with Mitsuba. Kimizuki didn't talk the whole time we were inside of the world but he left immediately after waking up with Yoichi.

I honestly didn't want to talk to any of them at this point and time so it was best that they left.

I just can't wait till the mission for the capital.

I will save him if it's the last thing that I do...
