___Previously___
"(Y/N)...we would like to introduce you to Bruce Wayne,..." They both stepped forward and gestured to the tall man with raven hair,
"...you're father."
-------PRESENT-----
(3rd Person)It's been about a week since Bruce was at (Y/N)'s house and told her the big surprised. Since then, it's been a little chaotic...
(Y/N)'s parents explained most of what happened to her as a kid, and how Bruce didn't know about her.
Also, they covered up most of the situation that Talia was in, especially the part of her being an assassin. They would tell her that her mother was scared of some crazy men. These men were trying to kill her and (Y/N), so Talia brought her to them. They never really clarified the name of her mother though. But they told her that her mother dropped her off, and they never got to fully meet her.
The rest of the story you kind of already know; grows up, and now you're you.
Anywho though, (Y/N) and her parents came to an agreement, after an hour or two or yelling/arguing. Her 'parents' loved her, and didn't want anything to happen to her. So, when they heard about the assassin ninja wanting to know where's she's at, they trusted Bruce with her. They confessed that she would be safer at his place then at their house.
That's where I bring you now; in the house of (Y/N), where she's currently packing her clothes and belongings.
___1st Person POV___
(Sorry for POV switches)I wasn't mad about everything, if that's what you're thinking. I'm more confused and overwhelmed with it all. I get that they think it's safer, but I've been fine living with them for all of these years!
'Why is now suddenly so different?'
Putting the little I had left in my room into the last of the boxes. A year managed to slip down my face as I was still conflicted with the situation at hand.
I'm going to live with my dad, who I only found out existed a week ago, and I'm expected to be okay with it!? I get that I'll be able to see my adoptive parents, but still, I won't be able to wake up to the smell of my mom's French toast, or the smell of my dad's coffee. It was my home; my life, childhood, and now...it feels like I'm leaving it behind me.
I'm not forgetting it all; but I'm leaving the key factors- my parents- behind me. They're going to be here still, but I'm abandoning them. Not completely, but for a decently long period of time.
"(Y/N), honey. Are you all packed?" My mother's voice cracked as she called for me from downstairs.
She's been an emotional mess lately, but she's put up a strong act towards me. She wanted to show that it's okay, and there's nothing to fear. I believe her, but there's a small piece of me that knows it's not going to be okay or alright. It's going to turn out bad...
"Yeah! I think I have everything..." I looked around my room, and double checked if I had everything. Every nook, every place, everywhere; I searched everywhere, and I did have everything.
"Come on dear! It's time to go!" My father's voice, just like my mother's, cracked as well. His tone was laced with sadness and guilt.
I sighed, and shifted around my room, grabbing suitcases and boxes of stuff (I had to make at least 3 trips from the car to my room).
Making my way down to the front door, I could see the back of our car packed with my things and valuables. It brought a tear to my eye, but I whipped it with my free hand. The other hand, handing off the box to my dad.
"If you forget anything, don't worry, we got it," my dad winked at me as I giggled slightly, "It gives us a reason to visit you," he poked my mom as she nodded back in response.
I moved over to the car, wearing my lazy/cozy outfit. I was too tired to put on nice clothes, and my outfit isn't horrible, but it's not the best. It consisted of a
(F/C) t-shirt, a pair of (blue/black) jeans, and a pair of easy slip on shoes. I was comfy, so I didn't care if they judge me. By 'They', I mean my 'new' family.Sighing, I opened the car door and got into the backseat of the car while my parents got upfront in their normal places. I decided to stare out the window the whole time. I made little conversation with my parents, due to the fact that I keep spacing out.
Speaking of which, I didn't realize that I stared out the window THE WHOLE RIDE, until I felt my mom smack my leg gently. I whipped my head aroundd, looking back at her, then the beautiful mansion. It was gorgeous.
There were nice perfectly squared stones, perfect stone structure, the columns were a bit much, and doorway was gigantic. It was a little dark, I admit, and from the view beyond the gate, it looked smaller. But I knew that it wasn't what was shown. I had a feeling that sat at the bottom of my stomach that told me there was more to it.
Staring up at it, one thought race through my mind,
"What mysteries do you hold?"

So sorry for the wait, and sorry this is a short chapter. I'm trying so hard to get more into each one, but my mind is dumb😂 Also, I wrote some of this late at night, so some of it sucks. Sorry.
