____1st Person POV____
"(Y/N)!!! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!! HURRY UP!!"
I groaned at the sound of my mum's voice, and sat up. Looking down at my alarm clock I realized it was 6:50, and my bus comes at 7:10, so I jumped out of bed and sprinted around my room. Grabbing the easiest and simplest clothes I could find, I throw them on and run off to the bathroom.
I looked into the mirror and yawned. The lack of sleep from staying up on my phone last night, was having an effect on me. I grabbed my brush and ripped through my messy (H/L) black locks. After about 3 minutes of that, I looked over and grabbed the contacts container that sat on the counter. I looked up and sighed, not wanting to put them in.
The thing is, I have perfect vision, but I have Heterochromia Iridium (two different colours of eyes), and when I was younger I was, of course, bullied for it. Eventually my parents transferred me to a different school, and helped me to start over there.
After putting in the contact, I blinked a few times and looked up to see that my blue eye now matched my green eye. Smiling to myself, I sprinted downstairs, my (F/C) backpack hanging on by one strap.
"Took you long enough!" My mother laughed as she handed me a piece of toast and a coffee cup filled with (Favourite drink).
[Yes, it's a coffee cup, deal with it]
"Thanks mom! I love you!" I kissed her on the cheek, and ran to the living room, "Bye dad! I love you!" I yelled and quickly awkwardly side hugged him, "Bye!" I was about to run outside but my mom stopped me, "Honey, don't forget to take your medication!!" Oh right...those...
I quickly ran back in and grabbed the many pills I had to take, due to my heart condition. I took them, drinking the liquid I had in my cup to wash them down.
I then ran out the door, making sure I closed it once out. I took multiple bites out of the toast and eventually finished it as I reached the bus stop; which is 2 roads/blocks away from our house.
Standing at the stop, I remembered I forgot to add a little makeup on (Sorry if you don't wear makeup). Opening my bag, I searched through and found some powder foundation I keep in case and some mascara. After applying both, I saw the bus. I put everything away and stood up, ready to dread another day of being a freshman at North Gotham Academy. They say it's a private school, but really, anyone can get in. You don't have to be unique, or have the best reputation. Also, there's not too many matters or rules; such as uniforms, academics, or athletics. There's also very few rich folk that go there, since it's more of a public school.
Even if it's not the best school to be at, it's still got a decently good education system. So, I think that's what my parents really care about, since they don't really like the idea of it being more public than private.
With my mind racing around, I boarded the bus, and tried to brace myself for a long, long day is ahead of me.
____Time Skip to lunch because classes are boring___
Looking around, I see a few of my friends sitting at a table in the back corner, like usual. I saw one of them wave to me, and I rushed over, setting my lunchbox, which my mom was so kind to pack for me, down on the table.
[Sorry if your name is one of the friends, just make up a new name for them]
"Girls, I just got some good tea to spill!" Julianne said as she slammed her hands on the table, her brown eyes scanning me and the others.
"Oh, do tell, please," Carla had her arms crossed as she leaned in slightly, her shoulder length brown and teal hair fell forward with her.
"Spill the tea sister!" Reina waved her hand as she then propped her head up onto her hands.
