8. Fat Lady's disappearance

I was walking to the Great Hall and saw Sybill coming here, too.

"Hello, my dear! How are you?" She greeted me. "Hello, I'm fine, you?" She looked at me. "Very good, yes, but...I can feel something is bothering you..." She said, looking deeply into my eyes. I shook my head. "Nothing, why?" She didn't answered. "Love, dear." I looked at her with confused look. "Excuse me?" She smirked. "It is obvious that is bothering you." She continued looking. "Yes...you will be very surprised, because you will be wrong about some obvious facts." She smiled. "Thank you, Sybill." I smiled. "No problem." She went in and I came behind her.

"Good morning." I heard Severus saying to me. " 'Morning." I smiled to him and he smiled back.

It was very interesting. Sybill's predictions, I mean. 'I will be wrong about some obvious facts...about love?" Hmm

I had two classes with second-year Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. It was very interesting and everything went out very good.
I was coming out of my classroom.
Me and Severus were sitting in the assembly hall and talking.
"Do you have more classes afternoon?" I asked him. He nodded.
"Four." He said.
"Same. I haven't slept 3 hours in total last night, and then Sybill came over and told me some nonsense about something..."
"About what?" He asked.
"Well...she said that love is bothering me, and that I will be surprised about some obvious facts...I don't know, I think it isn't very important...you?"
"I should go...my class starts in 15 minutes..."
"Don't change the subject..." He left. I could swear his face had slight shade od pink.
"I told you, my dear." Sybill showed up, suddenly.
"What?" I asked. She seemed very happy. "Isn't that obvious?" That women made me confused every time she spoke to me. "It's complicated." I said. "Next time when you speak to someone, remember to look in his eyes." She smiled and left.

Ok...? What was that? Was she there all time when me and Severus were talking? 'Remember to look at his eyes...' Why? I didn't have any idea.

While I was going down the hall, I heard very familiar voice talking. That was Lucius. He was speaking with his son, my student, and my cousin.

"Draco, I want you to meet someone." He said and looked at me.

"Oh, hello, professor Lexington." Draco said to me. I smiled to him and went to hug my uncle. Draco looked very confused. "Draco, I apologize I didn't mentioned that to you before, but you and Adrianna are closer than you think." He was still confused, and I smiled. "I haven't spoke with my brother Rufeus for years. Now, you have a chance to meet his daughter, your cousin." He looked at me and smiled. "Professor" He said. "Please, call me Adrianna, Draco." He nodded and smiled.

We went to The Three Broomsticks on a drink and Lucius asked me to tell what has my life been all this years, and how did I got in Hogwarts. Me and Draco went back to Hogwarts, and Lucius got back to the Malfoy Manor. Then, when I got back to my office, our family owl, William, passed through my window. It was from my father.

My dearest Adrianna,

I heard that you got job in Hogwarts. I'm so happy about you! I have some good news, too. President of MACUSA(The Magical Congress of the United States of America) has left his title and the Congress chose me for the new president! Are you enjoying your time in Hogwarts? Answer me as soon as you can.

My father is the new President of MACUSA?!? I'm so happy about him!! I wanted to answer him immediately.

Dear father,

Congratulations on your new position! I'm so happy about you! I'm doing pretty fine, actually, I met uncle Lucius and his son, Draco. Everything is fine. Adrianna.

I tied little piece of parchment to William's leg and he flew through the window. I wasn't sure if I needed to write this last sentence, and I was hoping that he isn't angry on Lucius anymore.

"Adrianna? Are you there?" Severus asked. "Yes" I went to him. "I wanted to ask you if you could explain me something." I nodded. "What is Lucius Malfoy to you?" He asked. "Uncle. Why?" His eyes widened, and that was obvious sign that he is confused, so I started explaining. "My father, Rufeus Malfoy, argued with Lucius because he is going to become Death Eater. Then, he took my grandmother's surname, and that's how we became Lexingtons." He nodded." I explained. Why are you asking?" He looked at me. "Your father is absolutely right. Lucius was a very loyal Death Eater."

"How do you know that?" I asked. He lifted his left sleeve and I could see the Death Eater mark. I was surprised. "What~..." He interrupted me. "Never question my loyalty to our Headmaster." I nodded. "I wouldn't. And, I would appreciate if you could leave me now, I have job to do..." I sat by my desk and started grading papers. "Do you want some help with that?" He asked. I shook my head. "That won't be neccesary, thank you." He smiled and dashed out of my classroom.

Severus's P.O.V.

Always when I would talk to her, I would feel that strange feeling inside me. I felt like that only once more in my life. When I was in love with Lily...Does it mean that I'm...no! It couldn't be! Well, she is very beautiful and smart...Holy Merlin! Why again...?
Dinner was very close. She was coming to the staff table and smiled. I must confess she would make me behave different.

Adrianna's P.O.V.

Dinner ended, and, as I was going to my room, I heard some noise from my house's students. Albus, Minerva and Severus came with me.

"Fat Lady is gone, professor, We can't go inside of our common room!" Percy said.
