If I may put it in an analogy, think of a virus. It chooses a host, sits on it for a while, then infects it and takes over the body.
This is actually quite similar.
So these fans are ones that just see the members and think they are hot or heard song and took a slight interest.
These fans are the ones that dont know if they should continue pursuing to stan BTS. They are the ones on the doorstep of the fandom, wondering whether or not to knock.
These fans are ones that swear they know Bangtan but confuse their names, mix up their faces, and only know like 2 of their most recent or most popular songs.
This level isnt quite yet ARMY. Its the initiation.
