Guide to BTS Army

Toxic Army

Yes. It is finally here.

To clear up, not all type of Army I will mention here is toxic. Just let me explain.

There are 3 types of general being in the ARMY world. The ones who are content as long as BTS are content, so they have that maturity and control to not bother with antis. There are ones that are content UNTIL someone tries disrespecting the boys and will spit pure fire in defense of them. However, like in every single fandom or following, there are some people that are insincere, antagonizing, rude, and unnecessary.

This is unavoidable because humans are flawed beings. There are bad AND good people in the world. But much like electrons and protons, there is a balance to keep the world in an ideal state of neutrality.

First I will diagnose toxicity.

A toxic army, well, what I call them, is not always the definition of the world. Fake army, mean army, saesang (because they are fans too), antis, all are toxic in my view. Note that I include antis because I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING SOME OF THESE ANTIS DEAD LOVE BTS, THEY BE GOING AFTER THEM LIKE WHY ARE YOU SO CONCERNED, YOU MUST WHOLEHEARTEDLY LOVE THEM LIKE I SWEAR TO GOD HOP OFF.

*ah hem* Yeah.

Anyways, if you are a fan that says, for example, I like Jungkook but not Yoongi, or I have a bias but I dont like anyone else, or I have people I like in BTS but as a group I dont like them, or I like some members, or I only came for [this member], or on a Vlive, you say, Oh how is [another member] doing, or that other member to come, or to leave so some other can do a live-

I CALL YOU FAKEEEEEEE. What type of fake love is that? I mean, you can have a bias ofc, you know ya girl gotta have her a slice of Jimin once in a while, but I LOVE all the other members too. If you aint ot7, you aint a real one. Thats the tea.

If you are an Army that follows BTS at the airport, (we all know who I am implying, but I wont call any names.. *cough* no pants girl *cough*)  or invading their space, or calling out explicit or rude things to them, or going up on them-

DONT CALL YOURSELF ARMY. PERIODT.

I absoluetly detest when people can do disrespectful things to the members then turn around and justify themselves, going on to further to say they are Army. Army where? I dont see Army. You can just barely call yourself a fan, but dont you dare mess up Army reputation with that nonsense. You can fully miss me with that saesang crap. thank u next.

If you are an Arry that is targeting other kpop groups or other idols or artists being mean, that is a toxic army. That is an Army looking for trouble. Basically, that is just a plain ole bully that just happens to stan our boys. These are the Armys that really stomp on the whole fandoms name.

I am disappointed in these fans the most. They go around starting issues in the name of BTS and ARMY which is awful for the good fans. Armys are known as the worst fandom out there- and I mean worldwide known. That's terrible. Especially because so much of us are so kind and going through things and just using their music to keep on fighting.

It truly is sad. What makes it worse is how much bigger this fandom is that any other group, so there is a bigger possibility for these type of people to appear. It upset me even more that alot of the victims AND perpetrators are teens and young adults. We are too young for this bull. Why can't we just live our lives and coexist peacefully? Must there be fandom wars or arguments or anything?

But there is a big big difference between that type of toxic Army and just plain defensive Army.

The toxic Armys would start or seek out a problem with others, whether it be another fandom or even in our own fandom. Defensive army who may start or continue issues with antis or other fans (lets be real, its mainly Exols or blinks), its because if we see something, you bet a bich is gonna say something. I, for one, am a defensive Army. Especially online, its almost to a fault.

If I see ANY disrespect to ANY member or ANY army (and Imma be honest- anyone, cause I am just that kind of person) I will call you out. And thats what these Armys do. We say what we need to say,  (sometimes plenty much ruder than we need to because we be getting pressed), but alot of times I see, its very calm. Passive aggressive but mostly calm.

But these often escalate- and this is not me being biased, but from many actual things I have seen with actual hurtful things being thrown side to side- its the opposing side that makes it into a way bigger problem.

One issue with this type of army is both sides are stubborn asf. Its actually crazy how far we can go, but like I said, every human has faults and flaws. Personally I will attack you, your family, your family line, ancestory, and your entire generation if you tick me off far enough.

Im not even ashamed, but that is something I can admit and say I need to work on. But I can say I have never participated in a fan war. And I see no need to. All it does is give more fuel to say more crap about Bangtan and us. We need to all grow up. Thats it. We just need to grow up and realize not all 7 billion people in this world will share our views. Not everyone will like who we like, or like the music we like, or do this or that the way we would like.

It is SO immature to attack someone, or threaten their life, or slam their entire livelihood, or do anything of that drastic measure just being you think differently. There will always be someone who will have opposing views to you and that is a fact and that will never ever change.

So why cant we just forget those differences and move on? Because lets be real, as long as Bangtan loves Army, what more do we need?

As long as Exo loves Exols, what more do they need? As long as Blackpinks love blinks, what more do they fucking need? My god.

As long as every artist or idol or group love those who support them, why bother worrying about the differences of others? Doesnt it get tiring to shame everyone that thinks differently than you? Thats such a waste of time and a waste of life, tbh.

Thats why I am so disappointed by toxic armys. You claim to love your idols, but literally all they do is spread the message of love. And you are going to have the audacity to turn around and share hate in their name? Absolutely despicable and you may as well call yourself an anti anyways.

This kinda was all over the place but my mind just got very dark and Im genuinely mad now, discussing this with myself lmao, so I will end off here.
