the show

trust me aria was anything but worried about hosting the vmas, she was used to the crowds and the bright lights. she was excited. the vma's were tonight but she was going to visit the children's hospital to visit them and hope they have a good day and get well. she was on her way already when she received a call from the manager of the vma's

"hey michael whats up?"

"hey love i just wanted to make sure you still wanted to do this, ive had some people back out on me"

aria's POV:

"no i totally want this, im 100% sure"

"okay good, thats what i like. be here for 3 okay?"

"3? oh okay ill be there"

crap. its 1:45 and it takes a half an hour to be there. i can only stay for like 45 minutes then i have to leave. once i got to the parking lot there was a mob of girls screaming. i couldnt make out what they were saying or why they'd be here. i dont get crowded so there not here for me. once i got closer i heard them screaming

"1D 1D!"

one directions here?!

i pulled in and everyone looked over and started screaming for me. i was flustered and the boys bodyguard helped me in safely. i greeted the nurses and went to the first patient. her name was Cassandra and she got in a very bad car accident and is still recovering. i knocked before walking in. the nurse told me she wanted to be just like me.

"come in!"

she croaked out. i slowly opened the door and popped my head in. she started screaming and fangirling. i hugged her.

"hi honey how are you feeling?"

"sore but your here so amazing!"

she was stunning for her age.

"your so pretty love, they told me you wanted to be a model but you didnt think you could, why couldnt you? i think you can"

"really? and because of all my scars, I'll be so ugly"

"no you wont! you'll be beautiful just like you are now imperfections are beauty you know?"

i talked to her for awhile. i took one last picture and hugged her one last time. i began to leave. i accidentally bumped into someone. he smelted like cinnamon and sugar, plus a cologne that i couldnt recognize.

"oh im so sorry,"

he stopped then recognized me as we locked eyes

"aria martin?"

"oh my gosh i didnt expect to see you here. im sorry i didnt mean to bump into you!"

"oh its okay babe, see you tonight"

"you guys are going?"

"of course we are"

i just talked to harry styles. and there going to the vmas. this is crazy.

"okay well see you then"

"good to see you"

he winked at me then walked away.

wait, he winked at me?!

i got in my car and drove to the Forum where the vma's were held. once i got there michael greeted me and showed me all the stuff. i went over my lines and surprisingly i knew them all and i was on stage A LOT. i also had to present a few awards, one with my other model friends, and i had to do 'best male group' because the presenter got sick and couldnt do it. i looked at the clock and it was 6. i was hungry so i went to eat something then went straight to the dress and makeup. i went through my quick changes and calmed down. it was finally time to go on stage.

"alright aria you ready?"

"of corse! michael it'll all go fine dont stress"

i hugged him and went on the stage. i had my beginning of the stage butterflies but they soon went away when i saw the crowd.

"hello everyone and welcome to the 2014 VMA'S hosted by me Aria Martin, i hope you all have a great night and lets get started!"

i walked off the stage. i was in a navy blue short tight dress. my hair was pin straight and i was doing a natural look.

i watched as iggy Azalea performed black widow on stage.

i was feeling really comfortable on stage now, and michael was loving it. it was time for me to fill in and present the 'best male group' award. i walked out in a yellow flowy dress now.

"so tonight has been very fun, but sadly prince could not make it tonight so therefore i have to present this award. but he wanted to apologize for his absense. now in this world we have a lot of legendary boy bands such as the backstreet boys, new kids on the block, N'Sync and so many more! but lets take a look at who you all voted for as your favorite male band, your nominees are...."

and the video played. the options were

the wanted

vamps

and fun.

it ended and i waited for the applause to end.

"and your winner is"

i opened the car and saw who it was.

"one direction! come on up here boys!"

they hugged there friends and began to come up on the stage they all hugged me and kissed my cheek. i handed niall the moon man and he held it up.

"oh my god this is amazing"

and they said there thanks then we all walked off together.

soon it was time for the after party. i changed into a tight purple dress. it was short but whatever itll be dark in there. i fixed my hair and walked to the club where the after party was. i immediately went to my friends, we sat on the couches and caught up.

"aria you did amazing tonight"

"thank you, i wasnt nervous which wasnt weird for me"

we had a few drinks and i decided im gonna go dance. all of a sudden someone tapped my shoulder.

it was harry.

"oh hey harry!"

"hey i wanted to tell you how good you were tonight, wanna go her a drink and talk? id love to get to know you better"
