This clinic is full of responsible and genuine people.
Never has there ever been or shall be negativity or doubt of the life of a pet in this clinic.
Walls are covered in inspiring quotes; quotes that give pet owners and even veterinarians the confidence that they will need in this building.
~Austin's POV~
Wow.. Romo has been down in the dumps lately and I can't figure out the reason why. I decided to stay home yesterday when the crew got the meet Alex's new friend, Elizabeth I think is her name. I wonder if she is cool like Alex said, I guess I'll find out next time.
I close my eyes and start to think of all of the memories I have shared with Romo over the years and haha, all I can say is that cat has a creative personality. My eyes open and Romo is foaming at the mouth trying to throw up something.
SOMEBODY HELP!
I sprint and take Romo with me into the car and I sped off to the nearest animal hospital I can find.
~Elizabeth's POV~
Wow... The clinic today is being slow today... We've only had 3 dog check ups and a hamster that for some strange reason, swallowed a fly and was a bit sick. I just finished my 2 slices of pizza for my lunch break and I savored every bite.
So I walk back to the front desk prepared for another minor vet visit, but instead as the door slid open, a young boy about my age bolted over here with a white cat in his arms that was having what looked like to be a seizure.
"SOMEBODY HELP! I NEED AID ASAP!!!!!" The brown haired boy yelled in a panicked manner.
I quickly but gently snatch the cat from his arm and I said as fast as I humanly could, "Fill out paper, I'll take care of him for you!"
As I sped walked with the pale white puffball, the boy yelled "His names Romo!! Please save him!" Hmmm... I've heard that name before... Well, anyway, I took him into Dr. Power's room and he immediately started to open and check Romo's mouth.
"Elizabeth, hand me the tongue depressor, I need to see if he has anything stuck in his throat." I swiftly grabbed and handed Dr. Power the depressor.
He moves Romo's head up and around with the depressor in his mouth so he can get different views. "Hmmm.... Ahh, I see the problem." Dr. Power grabs a pair of tweezers and with a couple of tugs inside of Romo's mouth (poor guy, sounds painful), out comes a chipped guitar pick.
Romo looks better but he looks sore from the recent yanking from his mouth, so I do what all of the best cat owners do, I give him some catnip :)
~Austin's POV~
Please Romo, be alright, I don't know what is do without you, hopefully that girl from the desk helped you out a lot.
Oh, speaking of which, I see her now and she's coming my direction. She's pretty.
I have to brace myself for the worst but expect the best, please lord help me.
We have an awkward eye contact with silence for about 2 minutes until I broke the ice. "Is he okay?" My voice choked.
"Ya, he's perfectly fine! I was just debating on either telling you that I got him high on catnip or to sound more professional and say he's on a medication because of pain.. Haha I'm weird, that's why I'm a born Texan, but a living Floridian."
I just laughed at the thought of Romo being loopy. "Haha I'm from Texas too, what's your name by the way? Because I want to thank you :)" She's nice and cool, funny and awkward, I don't know why, but she just makes me want to learn more about her.
"Oh haha, my names Elizabeth, but don't thank me, Dr. Power is who found out the problem and solved it." She looks at me as though she's trying to recognize me but I think I know who she is before she remembered me.
"Oh wait! You're the Elizabeth from the restaurant that saved Alex? I'm Austin! I was supposed to be there but Romo was sick!"
Her face lights up with remembrance "I thought I knew you from somewhere! Alex made me check out your music and I really like it! And I remember! Your mom was at the restaurant and she is so sweet!" I suddenly remember about my cat so I ask to visit him and obviously, my access is granted :)
~Elizabeth's POV~
I seruously cannot believe I didn't recognize him... lol.. How could I forget that beautiful voice from YouTube.. eh, oh well, at least I don't look like a stalker.
"So, do you have any cool hobbies?" Austin interupted my thoughts.
"Ummm.. I really like to draw and I have always liked to spend time with animals" I tried to answer as cooly as possible, but since I wasn't focused, as much of a clutz I am, I tripped over my own feet and stumbled.
"Haha.. I meant to do that." I hope he didn't notice..
"It's fine, this can be our little secret." He whispered while we continued to walk. So he did see that. I am so awkward.
"Oh, here's Romos room! You can take him home in about 20 minutes so the catnip wears off!" "Ok cool! Can you stay and chat with me until I can take him home??"
How could I not resist such a great opportunity! YASSSS I can make a new friend!!
"Sure, I have nothing else to do!" I didn't mean for that to come out as eager as it did... So after the 20 minutes, I learned so many cool things about him!! He told me about his dog, more things about his mom, and stories that I couldn't believe from his childhood.
"There is NO WAY you did that!!" "Yup, and I have proof!" Austin showed me his phone and I indeed saw the proof of his prank that he pulled on Alex like a year ago.
~Austin's POV~
Elizabeth told me about how she met her best friend, and that was quite of an awkward but hilarious situation!
Haha and I actually got to see some pictures of some things she has drawn and let me say one thing:
Amazing.
I could never make anything on a paper, let alone a stick figure. I think Elizabeth is a really good person to meet and I am going to make sure I don't lose contact with her, I just feel that there is some type of special connection.
"Here's Romo, he's a lot calmer now so he can go home :)" She hands me him inside of a carrier and before I lose my chance, I give her my number and I hope that we will hang out more. Actually, I know we will because Alex is her friend so :) thats good.
Haha finally I updated... sorry for taking so long even though I have like a few readers :) but I like to entertain so have fun!!
