I can't help myself smiling widely this morning. Yesterday Brant took me home and the rest of the day I just thinking about him.
"Are you feeling better?" Jay come into my room. I remember told him that I'm not feeling good yesterday and he gave me one day off from my busy schedule. Instead of having rest at home, I was going to his apartment and also have Big mac with him.
I smile and nodded. "Any schedule for tonight?" I asked.
"I already told the agency that you can't attend the gala charity dinner tonight."
"I think I can attend the gala charity dinner tonight." I smile and thinking that Brant will accompanying me wherever I'm going.
"Hahhhh?" Jay said with O shaped in his mouth.
"Yeah.. I'm feeling better.." I smile.
"But last night I've already make an appointment to have a meeting with another client, I can't go with you. I thought you're going to rest tonight." Jay said.
"That's okay.. I have my bodyguard..in case you forgot it"
"Your new bodyguard? are sure about that?"
"Hmm.... yesss!" I smile and get into my walk in closet. What should I wear tonight. I want to make him impressed. I try to find my best dresses for the gala dinner tonight. How can I go just with him? Maybe I should ask Dylan for this, but... ohh I think I need to ask something important than this one.
I go downstairs and try to find Dylan. I see that he is in the kitchen.
"Dylan.. where is he?" I asked him.
"He?"
"Umm.. Brant" I put a creepy smile on my face.
"He's checking the car in the garage.. and make sure the car is well prepared when you needed. Anything I can do for you?"
"I want to asked you something" I take a look surrounding me and make sure no one here.
"What is that about? I would happy to help you." He smile.
"Um... Is he... I meant.. he.. mmm... Brant... have any girlfriend or in relationship? ummm..." I asked hestitantly.
"He's already married and have a kids" Then My heart just dropped! I lost my words.
"Kidding...." Dylan smiling at me.
"How can you do that to me..." I said.
"He's single.. I don't think he has a girlfriend or in relationship, I've never see him with other girl, but why don't you ask by yourself?"
"Um... better I'm asking you.. Oh Dylan.. can you give me a favor?" I smiling.
"Yes.. anything that I can do for you?"
"I will attend the gala charity dinner tonight.. could you make sure that just me and him. I mean only both of us to go to that gala dinner?" I use my puppy eyes. Please help me..
"Are you kicking me out?" He furrow his eyebrow asking my statement.
"No.. hmmm honestly yes...Please "
"Alright..." He smile and nodded.
"Thank you Dylan." I'm going to my room with my happily face ever. I need to be ready!
Brant Rhaegan
"Do you have any plans tonight?" I take a look at my uncle beside me.
"Nope." I clean up my hands while finished to check all the machine and nothing wrong with the car.
"I should go with Hailey tonight for the gala charity dinner, but I think I can't go with her. Your aunty called me and asked me to go home early to be with her. Can you help me to go with her tonight?"
"Yeah.. If she asked you for that and I will do within her order to you."
"Come on son.. go with her.. I knew you will."
"I knew what are you trying to do" and he chuckles.
"I just grant her wish. So??" he shrug.
"Okay.." I sighed defeated.
I just get ready and waiting her to come downstairs, take her to the gala dinner and waiting her till her done with her business and go straight home.
"Hey." I take a look.
Back on earth Brant! why she always have to be so stunning. She wear a simple baby blue one shoulder dress with her simply make up. I just nod slightly and open the car door for her.
As my prediction, she walk through the front door and slide in. I closed the door and get in the car with her by my side.
"Did you get my text?"
"Hmm." Keep your eyes on the road Brant. I don't wanna get spelled while see her.
"Why you don't reply my text?"
"Should I?"
"What?" okay I lose, I look at her.
"I read it"
"Yeah, you just read it.. great.." why with the sudden mood changes? She crossed her arms and look outside the window.
After we arrived at the foyer, she still silent. I open my door and run a bit to open her door but she's already standing beside that.
"You'll come with me inside."
"No.. I'd rather waiting you here, you can call me when you want to go home, I'll pick you here."
"It's a mask dinner, they won't bother if I go with you."
"No.. I don't have-" and she handed me a black mask on my palm while she wear hers.
"Just come in with me." she said and cling her hands on my arms. I have no choice than give the car keys to the valet service and walk with her inside.
I could see so many people attending this gala dinner. They must be celebrity or even business man,politician and many important people are here. The server start provide us a glass of champage. I see her took the glass and drink all of it.
"Don't you drink?"
"I'm driving"
"Okay.." and she took my glass and drink it too.
We both just stay in silent and watches all the performances. As I thought before, it's just a dinner while all the attendant give their charity to the orphan, hunger, refugee and the other that needed. She did too, I could see her name is on the list that comes up on the screen when the charity goes to the hunger and poor peoples. Never thought the girl like her, have a noble heart to give such amount of money for the charity.
Okay stop admiring her Brant! You're under her spell!
"I need to go to the loo." I whisper to her.
"Okay.. I'm here." she smile.
