10. Get Away

I come to the mansion again and when I just stand in front of the door, I see her.

I take a big gulp looking at her. She's so damn beautiful, especially tonight. She must attend some party or anything like that. I've been out of town for two days for doing something about my work with Ryan and just came back here, so my uncle can took a break and take care of my aunty.

She just look at me awhile before get in the car. I start the engine while she seat in the backseat. I still can see her from the rearview mirror. She seems lost with her own thought, even I could see she's crying silently and keep looking outside the window. What are you thinking on your mind Hailey?

Brant!!! Can you stop interfere someone's business... I start to keep my eyes on the road but end up all the ride watching her through the mirror. And the memory has just came up on my mind..

*flashback*

"mom.. were you crying?" I came closer and look at her watery eyes. She nodded and smile for me.

"I just miss your father"

"Mom.. can we please... don't talk about him. I don't like it, I don't even know him"

"Brant.. please don't hate him.. he have a reason, he did it for you, for me, for us"

"have a reason for leaving us? Does it sounds funny mom? I have no other reason to not hate him"

"You'll know it one day son.." she hugging me tightly.

*end flashback*

I stop the car and let them out, I keep my eyes to her. She didn't even take a look to me. It's not my business, it's not my business.. I usually don't care and don't even want to come in between someone else's business but with her.. I'm the one who always jump in between her business. What the hell happen with me!! I park the car and then get into the restaurant, get unto the upstairs and stand on the corner of that balcony. The night view of New York...

"Hailey, I never ever teach you being unmanner like that.." I crane my head to see that Mr. Jordan and Hailey on the balcony, they didn't notice me cause I'm standing behind the big plant here.

"I don't want this engagement, I don't want this marriage, I told you, thousand times, I don't even know him but you never listen to me."

"I care for you, my only and the only one that I have in this world.. how can you humiliate me like that? Have you lost your mind? Do I need to tell you how to behave in front of people?" I keep listening them, I knew I should just go, but my body stay still here.

"Dad... do you know.. I wish I was dead long time ago with mom and Hana! At least they would listen me now.."

And I see Mr. Jones slapped her.

"Ian! Get my daughter home now! Lock her in her room." I see Mr. Jones call Ian, one of his bodyguard and he came within a minutes and drag Hailey with him. I came out without they knew that I was there and watched the scene. I walk following Ian and Hailey from behind and for a millisecond, Hailey kick Ian and get into the car.

Woman! Geezz!

I run hurriedly get into the car and chasing her car. She drive crazily with the speed. Where the hell she will go? It's almost two hours driving out of city! All I can see now just hill, long road with the forest in between.. Does she plan to get away??

I start slowdown while I see her car just stop in the edge of the road. I park my car on the side road and get out from the car. Suddenly the wind breeze through me. We're high enough to see the view of hills and all the city from here. This woman quiet crazy!

I walked out from the car and walking towards her. She closed her face and I could see her crying out loud with her shoulder shakingly. I knocked her window and suddenly she stop crying, looking at me disbelief through the glass.

I sigh her to get out from the car, I will not let her driving again, at least not in the road with that speed.

"What are you doing here?" she turn down the window.

"Same question miss.. why are you driving here? Do you even notice that You've spent two hours driving with your crazy speed? Wanna kill yourself? Get out!" I said sternly and open her door.

I see her get out and wrapped her self with her hands because wind breezes touched her skin... Without I've even notice, I take out my suit and wrapped it around her body.

"Can you please leave me alone?" she said looking at me and I could see the stain of tears brim on her cheek. I nodded and let her walk pass by me and sit in front of the car. I keep looking at her while she still looking to the view.

I came back to my car and get the medicine box from there, I took a cream to reduce the pain and sit beside her.

She look at me for awhile and I hold her chin so her left cheek facing me. I put some cream on her cheek and she whince a bit.

"This will reduce the pain" I said and she just look at me with her tears falling down.
