The Witch and Her Werewolf

Chapter 1: I'm a What?

I was just a normal average everyday girl until....

"Liz? Hey, Liz, you good?"

I was day dreaming, again. "Sorry, April I was just..." 

"Yeah just day dreaming again, the bell rang. Come on we're going to be late."

April pulled me out of my seat and dragged me into the hall. When all of a sudden I slammed into someone and start to fall backwards, but they caught me.

"S-sorry..." They said, it was a boy, and blushed for some reason. 

"No, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going."

I looked at him and he pulled me up from the dip pose I was in. He just looked into my eyes, that I have been told that are like sapphires, and his were like deep blue oceans, which I find odd since most of the time you don't find someone that has the same eye color. 

He just stared at my eyes and I stared at his until...

"Elizabeth what are you doing with the new guy? You know that use popular girls show the new kids around, or do you think you're one of use?" I look dead at Alice the most popular girl in school. 

I looked down and looked right at her, "I'd rather stay with my friends and be me, then be a snob for the rest of my life. Because you, Alice, will never change and the truth in the matter is that I can't and no one, but your friends, can trust you."

The boy wouldn't let me go and I didn't know why, "Would you mind letting me go? I have seventh period last." I said in his ear and he let go. 

"What is your next class?" He had asked, still looking at me the same way when he had a hold of me.

"Choir." I looked at him and saw a small smile on his face. 

"Me too." I couldn't help but smile at that. 

"Okay then, come on I'll take you there. Oh, and we don't do much in that class so we can talk a little while we're in there." I couldn't stop smiling when his ocean eyes lit up.

We were walking to choir when he asked, "Are you alright after I bumped into you?" He looked down at the floor then looked back up to keep from tripping or something. 

"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Are you?" I couldn't help but look at him and worry. 

He looked at me, "Yeah, I'm fine." 

"What's your name?" I asked as I walked into the choir room and see April in the normal spot. 

"Adrian..." He said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him to April. I sat down but I didn't let go of his hand until he sat down next to me. 

"Oh, so you fall into him and now he's your boyfriend?" April smirked and I gave her a glare that said I'm going to kill you. 

"He isn't my boyfriend, okay, I just got excited." I looked down in embarrassment. 

"Yeah sure. This is pay back for the dance a few Fridays ago." 

She what? "April that was the dance I teased you yes but that was you and your boyfriend, this is a guy we just met like two hours ago." I was angry I felt like I was being embarrassed two times as much as I teased her. 

"April, that-that's not okay." I got up and walked to Mr. Rain's office and asked to go to the bathroom, he said yes, I walked out of the room and into the bathroom that was in the cafeteria.

"Lizzy? Are you alright?" I looked at myself and thought how does, he know my name? I never told him. 

"Yeah, I'm fine." I feel kind of sad. Do I know why? No. No, I do not. 

I walk out and think, Be strong like a wolf or something. All of a sudden I was close to the ground and Adrian was taller than normal. He looks at me and smiles. He then says, "Yup I found you, witch of animals." 

He took me into the girl's bathroom and started to tell me what I'm supposed to do to be me again. "Okay all you have to do is think that you want to be you again." I thought about me and closed my eyes. 

When I opened them I saw Adrian look at me impressed. "Okay, first, how do you know my name? Second, how did you know how to help me? And, third, I'm a what?!"
