Chapter 10: An Alphess' Work is Never Done

An alphess' work is never done. I talked to the mothers and pups about training to listen and respect for their mothers, fellow wolves, and alphas and betas, for present and future pups. I also talked to the trainers and Adrian about making sure the trainees are exercising their agility.

I have been training with Dakota but I've been faster because I'm a witch that can turn into animals. I normally turn into a wolf but if something is threatening Adrian, the pack, then I will turn into a lion or tiger. Normally it's a lion. I've been helping Layla with training.

Our first school year in the Junior High ended and ever since I've been going their more frequently. Alue has been a great teacher and an even better wolf.

We go back to school in August and Adrian's and my birthdays is in that month. We will turn fourteen and only be two years from when we can be married. It's July 31st and we have til next week to get some of our pack members into the school.

Alue is the seventh grade math teacher. The teacher before, we found out that he wasn't a witch, werewolf, or half breed. The principal fired him and hired Alue.

Before long we found out that two of the three history teachers were human and they were fired and each teacher fired is charmed so they don't remember anything about the school.

Only the students are aloud to be human. One science teacher was found out to be human as well and fired. We are trying to get Mary, David, and Riley into the school.

Riley would be the science teacher and Mary and David would be history teachers. Mary and David are married and Mary will be put in with the mothers soon. When Mary is going in with the mothers, Carly will go in for her.

When Mary is having her pups David will of course go with her to help her have them, Simon will go in for him. Simon is about twenty-one and so is Carly. Simon and Carly are twins, which is pretty cool.

Right now I'm with the mothers watching over them teaching the pups to listen and respect the others. Every once in a while they would practice on me for respect. The mothers would call Adrian to show him their progress and their listening skills.

It was always funny when Adrian tells them they are doing good and they would have him in a dog pile. "Pups, I believe he has had enough." I look at them and one by one they get off of him.

"Is this what it's going to be like when we have pups?" He asks shaking off the dirt and licking my ears. "I hope so, it's cute." I wagged my tail. "Lets see if they listen as well as these pups do." He nodded towards the pups.

"Oh, that reminds me, Sarah, have you come up with a punishment for the pups that disobey?" The beautiful silver coated female turned to me, "Yes, Liz. They would have to run with the trainees when they do." She looked over at the pups.

"Which trainee, Sarah?" She looked at me, "Dakota for now until he graduates. Lilly, will you come here for a minute?" She called over a cute little girl with a pure white coat and blue eyes.

"Lilly, this is Liz, the alphess, and some day she will have pups of her own. Liz, this is my daughter Lilly." Lilly bowed, "Hello, Liz. It is an honor to meet you in person." "It's an honor to meet you too, Lilly. I hope my pups will be as polite and respectful as you."

Lilly sagged her tail, bowed again and ran back to her friends. "After Dakota who will be the next trainee?" I looked over to Sarah, "Layla." I shook my head 'yes' and walked off to Adrian.

"You are amazing, you know that?" He licked my ears. "What do you mean?" I wagged my tail, "You know what I mean. You made our lives easier and while your doing that you are making your life busier." I looked at him, "And?"

"And you are amazing. You know I love you, right?" He wagged his tail, "Well if you didn't I wouldn't be alphess, would I?" I licked his ears, "Stop, I want to kiss you for real." We turned back and we kissed, he pulled me onto his lap, "You aren't weak anymore, and I really like that because now we can spend more time together and with the pack."

I kissed him, "Wait I have to check on Mary, see if we should even send her to the school or send Carly and Simon." He held me, "This is what I mean, you are always busy and all for the pack." I booped his nose, "Well, I have to look out for the finishing trainees coming to the school."

I turned into a wolf and went to Mary.

Like I said, an alphess' work is never done.
