The Witch and Her Werewolf

Chapter 4: She's a What? He's a What? And You Are a What in a What? - Part 1

I woke up and Adrian was still there,but shirtless and I was in a night shirt. Adrian woke up, "Hey, good morning, Lizzy." He let go of me and started tickling me. I couldn't stop laughing. "Adrian....please......stop.." I was able to say in between laughs.

He stopped and kissed my forehead. He got off of me and got changed in the bathroom. He was leaning against the door frame when I turned around after getting my shirt on. He was wearing a black shirt and light blue pants.

"Hey, Wolfy. What are you up to?" I walked over and booped his nose. "Just doing my job, watching over my princess." When did he get flirty? He pulled me by my waist, kissed my forehead and held me.

"Oh so you're the new neighborhood watch dog?" When did I get so flirty? "I guess you could say that princess." He looked at me and winked. "Your classes are the same as mine right?"

He looked like I asked something stupid. "Yes." I pushed him away and walked out of the room. I heard him come down the hall and he grabbed my arm.

"Hey, why did you do that?" Wow. "Ask yourself you had that look like, she asked such a dumb question." He looked surprised that I noticed. "Agh, never mind, let's just go to school."

I dragged him out the door and ever since I turned into a wolf I have their hearing. I heard a howl, Oh no it's the pack. I'm the alpha, I should have told them I got someone to protect.

"You're a what?" He never told me this, why? "Arh, just go ok I'm sick of this and it hasn't even been a full 24 hours." He looked at me, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I have to..." I cut him off, "Fine, it's just fine."

I walked away and felt fur on my legs. He looked up, I'm sorry I'll tell you later, ok? He licked my leg and ran away. Why does he... You know what never mind I'm not dealing with this today. I have a test today and a test tomorrow I need to focus on the tests.

I wish he would just tell me the truth.

"So, Liz, did that cute boy ask you out yet?" April asked with a light in her eyes. "No, April. But my parents must know him they let him walk me home and stay the night." April smiled and turned me around.

Adrian was coming up the stairs and jogging over to me. "Hey, Lizzy." He kissed my cheek and April squeaked. "Liz, are you two, like, together?" I rolled my eyes and handed Adrian some sausages from this morning, his eyes lit up and I giggled.

"So, are you?" April was still asking and pressuring. "No, April, we are not. Bye, April see you in second, lunch, fifth, and seventh period."

"Bye bye lovebirds." She giggled and ran out the door. I took the sausages from Adrian and put them back in my locker. We walked into class and Adrian and I normally sit in the back and by normally I mean starting today. I sit in front of him and he starts playing with my hair.

"Adrian, what are you doing?" I look at him dead in the eye. "Your hair is soft." He said and went back to playing with it. I laugh a little and let him play with my hair.

The teacher didn't care what we did so Adrian and I got out of our sets and sat against the wall. Adrian sat close to me and had his arm around me. I laid my head on his shoulder and sighed. "Lizzy, I wanted to talk to you about this morning." He looked down and took my hand.

"I'm the alpha to a pack of werewolves and they all go to this school protecting or trying to find their witches." I just kept my head on his shoulder and listened. "I'm supposed to find a girl mortal, werewolf, witch to marry." What? I took my head off his shoulder and looked at him. "But not until I'm like eighteen. When I turn eighteen my father chooses the girl. I have five years to find someone. Do you think it that's long enough?"

"Yeah, but you have to think about your future this soon? You shouldn't have too." He took my hand, "Well you come to mind when I think of the future." He covers his mouth. I smile, "I would be an honor to be your wife, but really I never thought that far ahead."

I cover my mouth and we laugh. We sit back the way we were.  I ended up falling asleep like that, but Adrien woke me up. "Princess, first period is almost over." I flutter my eyes open, "Okay." I yawn, "Thank you, Wolfy." I kiss his cheek and pick up my stuff.

The bell rings and we walk to second period. Adrian starts talking making sure no one was listening, "You know April's a witch too right?" I look him dead in the eye, "She's a what?"
