Chapter 6: Meet The Pack

"You ready?" Adrian asked me ready to turn into a wolf. "Yeah I'm ready." I jumped into the air and when I came back to earth I was a wolf.

Adrian just turned into a wolf and we went to the pack meeting. Getting there wasn't hard. When we got their they all bowed to Adrian and I, but mostly Adrian. Adrian howled and everyone stood. He turned back into himself but told me not to transform. Everyone turned back into themselves.

"Everyone, this is Elizabeth White the witch of animals." He motioned my to stand, so I did. He motioned me to transform back into myself, so I did. When I opened my eyes everyone was staring at me and my red hair was taken be the wind, letting it all fly.

"Elizabeth, this is the pack. The mothers and pups," he took his hand to the left side of the group where the women were trying to get the kids to calm down, "the hunters," he took his hand to the center where everyone was sitting up tall, "the hunters in training, but they also are trained to fight," he went a little to the right to see kids that were about eight to maybe thirteen, "and finally the omegas." he went the rest of the way to the right but there weren't many there.

I couldn't help but smile at the sight of everyone here. I saw April come up with Mason, soon after Faith and Tyler showed up. April and Faith ran up to me, "What is happening, is it something bad?" April asked. "Well it depends, you wanted to be witches right?" I asked them. "Yes, I've always wanted to be a witch." They both said.

I smiled. "Well then, everyone I give you April, the witch of pure love," they all cheered, "and Faith, the wisdom witch." They cheered louder. "What's our powers?" They asked in unison. "Well, I don't know but your werewolves do, boys?"

Mason and Tyler stepped up and took the girls to talk. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the mothers having trouble with the pups. I turned into a wolf and jumped down to them. The mothers saw me and bowed their heads. "Why do you bow?" I bark. "You are his witch you are considered alphess." They bark back. I feel different hearing that.

The pups are still playing. "Hey kids, are you having fun?" They turn their heads to me and wagged their tails, "Yes, we are having a lot of fun." They all say at once. "Okay, well, are you listening to your mothers?" I ask them. They look down and put down their ears, "No." They say again, but one little girl come up to me. "I've listened to my mother." She was so beautiful. "Okay then, sweet girl." She wagged her tail, licked my leg and ran back to her mother. She was white with a black pattern all over her.

"Pups you should be listening to your mothers, there are more of you than them and with most of you acting like that isn't helping. You need to listen to your mothers and the other wolves because they are here to keep you safe and love you, if they didn't love you then they wouldn't care that you don't listen to them, but they do. Help your mothers care for you by caring for yourself as well."

They all look at me with respect and calm down. "Thank you, Elizabeth." They bark. "Please, call me Liz. What is that pup's name, the one that came up to me?" They wagged their tails. "Her name is Layla and she is the sweetest pup I've ever met and I'm proud that I'm a mother to her generation." I wag my tail in that response.

I look to the pack and the are all staring at me. I walk to were Adrian is, transform back and ask, "Why is everyone looking at me like that?" He looks me dead in the eye. "No one has been able to calm the pups or make them listen."

I look down and blush. "You are amazing, Lizzy." He takes my chin and turns it to him. We stare into each other's eyes. It felt like everyone was holding their breath. Adrian leaned in and I didn't stop him. He kissed me, I kissed back and we broke it, "Looks like I met the pack, but am I in the pack?" He smiled and kissed me again but it was a peck. "Does that answer your question?" I smiled back. "Why, yes-yes it does."
