Personality: Seoyeon is your typical rich girl; pretty, somewhat reserved, and somewhat empty headed. She's normally able to get away with a lot of things with a pout or flashing her black card but she really tries to be the nicest person. Her parents are known assholes among their small clique in Gangnam and she wants to be nothing like them. She does have a few spoiled tendencies but has learned that money can't buy everything.
Background: Seoyeon was born in Seoul, South Korea to a Korean father and Japanese mother. The Park family resided in Gangnam, only fraternizing with those of their shared social status. Seoyeon is an only child and was spoiled beyond belief. If she wanted something, she would barely have to ask before her parents would get it for her. Looking down her nose at people is second nature to her and she is working on changing it but struggles at times. Sometimes friends have to remind her that not everyone is afforded the same opportunities as her. Although embarrassing, she tries to adjust herself accordingly. When she decided to become an idol, it was the first time that she was not able to use her parent's money to do what she wanted. Initially, she wanted to get into SM, who happily took her with her high quality visuals, she was cut after a year due to her lack of growth. Despite wanting to stay with the company and promising to try harder (and a lofty bribe to the company), they refused to extend her contract. Following her return home, Seoyeon enrolled into several classes, desperate to improve. She continued to go on countless auditions, constantly being turned down for one reason or another until finally being accepted at Galaxy Entertainment.
