Lumine's POV
It's been a week since I got injured by Kody's bully, Calla.Ever since then Kody's been acting weird.Like he isn't sad or annoyed at looking at me.But Kody was really acting strange since a few days he's been showing a lot more emotion, not that it's a bad thing it's just really weird seeing him like that.But that's not all that weird he get red when he's around or even sees me.Does he hate me?

Kody's POV
I was in my room thinking about Well Lumine.My dad was right, every time I'm not with Lumine I think about him.I crave him, I've shown more emotion around him then anyone else.Its like my heart is wrapped around even the thought of him.My thoughts were interrupted by someone yelling in my ear.
"What the hell dad,"I yell annoyed

"Good your listening,"he said while smiling

"What do you want," I say while rubbing my ear still hearing ringing from my right ear as I glare at him

"Oh well I was just saying that you should go back to school soon, or your grades will slip,"he states, reminding me that it's been almost more than a week since I was at school

"It's not like they haven't already..."I mutter under my breath as I turned my gaze down

"Hmm What was that?"dad asked tilting his head toward me

"N-nothing,"I stuttered looking to the side

He chuckled and started to walk away

"Wait!"I yelled to him before he walked away.He turned to me and hummed in response

"Uh well can I go to school when Lumine is done recovering...he'd probably wanna come to..."I said trying not to stutter

"Okay,"He chirped and gave a huge grin as he walked out the door . I exhaled a breath that I didn't I was holding and laid on my bed and sighed.

Time skip
"We're heading out!"Lumine yelled before walking out in the cold morning

"Bye guys!"dad yelled from the kitchen that still had a lingering bacon smell.We walked out closing the front door.We walked in silence before Lumine stoped

"Why are you stopping?"I asked, confusion coating my words

"Kody be honest do you hat me?"Lumine asked looking down toward the ground

"What no why would you think that?"I asked stepping closer to Lumine, my breath visible in the cold air

"W-well you've been acting weird ever since what happened..."Lumine said softly

"No I just..."I started to say while walking closer to Lumine "I don't hate you..I-I.."I started moving on its own as I wrapped my arms around the confused white haired boy "I-I love you Lumine.." I whispered in his ear before backing up slightly and kissed him softly.After a couple of seconds I backed away, Lumine was dazed his eyes were wide in shock.

"I-I'm Sorry I wasn't thinking..."I said before running through the forest not paying we're I was going just running.
