Evie sat down next to the warden trying to get him to let the man go. Evie keeps going up a hundred pounds, but the warden just wants to see him hang. Addilyn leans against the pillar watching as the inmates cheer as the man is brought out. Addilyn watched as the Hangman asked him was his last request was, Addilyn didn't hear it but people started laughing. Evie goes to 500 pounds when the warden places his hand on Evie's leg, she swats it away and Addilyn glares at him.
The warden offended waves his hand to the Hangman. The man goes down as Addilyn yells "No!" she turns as she hears "Ha his neck did not break." Evie turns to him, "He knows the way to Hamunaptra." He looks at her, "You lie!" Addilyn suddenly speaks "She would never!" The warden points at the man "You mean this pig knows the way to Hamunaptra?!" Evie nods fast, "Yes and if you cut him down, I will give you 10%" The warden and Evie start arguing, until he says 25% and they agree.
The warden doesn't want to, but he waves his hand. The Hangman cuts him down and the man looks up at them, "You wanted my name, right?!" Evie looks surprised while Addilyn laughs. "My names O'Connell" The man yells. He is escorted out of the jail and they agree to meet up too tomorrow at the ferry. Addilyn tells Evie that night to not pack just books. Jonathan walks over to Addilyn, "Be ready, I will protect you from anything." Addilyn smiles "Thanks dad, just don't drink to much." They all go to sleep, excited for tomorrow.
Addilyn smiles at her family and wonders what they will find in this hidden city.
