Chapter 6

The team arrived at a trading town, Addilyn was given clothes from O'Connell which Jonathan wanted to refuse but she took them anyway. Evie was taken away with the women to get some new clothes. Jonathan was trying to buy five camels with a low price, but them seller was not lowering it. "Five I only Want five!" He kept yelling. "Just pay the man already." O'Connell said impatiently. Jonathan payed the man and grabbed the camels reigns'. "We could get them for free if we payed them your daughter or sister." O'Connell pointed out, "Not my daughter nor my sister." Jonathan replied quickly.

They stopped when the girls walked up to them, Evie wearing a beautiful black and gold dress along with a veil. Addilyn walk along side Evie with Black leggings, ankle boots, a black shirt, and a green jacket. Evie and O'Connell made love eyeballs at each other while Jonathan and Addilyn got on the camels. "Let's go lovebirds." Addilyn yelled.

That night the warden was snoring loudly waking almost everyone up. Jonathan started hitting him with the whip and the pretending to be asleep when the warden looked at him. Addilyn laughed at their little act and watched Evie sleep on O'Connell's shoulder. When she woke up again, they had stopped, and the Americans were opposite of them. "What are we waiting for?" Jonathan asked, "We are about to be shown the way." O'Connell replied. "Remember O'Connell five hundred dollars to the person who get to the city first." One of the Americans yelled.

Addilyn looked at Evie but she shook her head. The sun rose and they all saw a city emerge like a mirage. Then the race was on Addilyn stayed more in the back as Evie took the lead winning the money. "I know you know how to win a camel race." Jonathan said a bit later when they were digging. "Yeah but I wanted to see the city a bit and maybe the people on the cliff." Addilyn said.

The Egyptologist look over and wondered what women could possibly do. The Medjay look down at them, "Father we have to get them away." The boy looked to his father. "We will go tonight don't worry Ammon." Ardeth said looking at his son. Ammon looked down at the camp seeing them drop into the tunnels, he was worried about the women, they should not be here. "They will leave father, we will make them." As Addilyn jumped into the hole ready to find some interesting things, she made note to keep things peaceful.
