Chapter 11

The group made it back to Evie's room where they were discussing who opened the chest. It was Henderson, Daniels, Burns, and the Egyptologist. "What about my buddy Beni?" Rick asked from the window. Daniels shook his head, "No he ran outta there before we could open it." Rick nodded "That sounds like Beni." Addilyn mentioned getting the Egyptologist and everyone agreed to it. Rick pointed to Evie while Ammon grabbed Addilyn and was already putting here into the bedroom. Evie started throwing a fit but Addilyn took one look into Ammon eyes and knew why he was putting her there. Rick closed the door and told no one to open the door. "I can't believe they left us in here!" Evie yelled at the door.

"Since we are stuck in here why don't we get some sleep" Addilyn suggested which seemed to calm Evie down. Evie nodded and went to get her night-gown on. Addilyn didn't change because she thought it was safer. Evie and Addilyn walked over to the bed and got in with Evie closer to the door, what Evie didn't see was that Addilyn hide a knife under her pillow. None of then her the man die in the next room or the creature come in through the keyhole.

Addilyn felt something was wrong, there was no noise. She was slowly waking up when she felt Evie scramble over her, and the door bust open. She opened her eyes to see Evie gagging and Rick holding up the white cat. "Look what I got." Rick taunted the creature with making him fly into sand and go out the window. Ammon rushed over to Addilyn while Rick reached for Evie. "Are you alright?" Ammon asked. "Yes, what happened?" Addilyn asked. Rick made a hurry up sign and Addilyn knew she would find out later.

They rushed into the museum and Evie ran to the stone looking for clues. As they were looking the doors start to be banged on and Jonathan was told to get the car. Addilyn slipped out behind him because she wanted to be of help. She and Jonathan were almost caught though but they recovered quickly. When they finally got to the car the others were ready to leave. "You should not have run off." Ammon scolded Addilyn. "I will let you know next time."

As soon as they started to drive away Beni shouted alerting the creature. "You'll get yours Beni! You'll get yours!" Rick shouted. The creature did a yell and all the zombie people started after them. "Ammon do not kill them." Aldreth told his son. Ammon nodded and started to defend the vehicle. Addilyn tried helping but everyone was just blocking every chance. Suddenly Jonathan ran down a fire hydrant making the car unfit for use. "Dad you are not getting another car!" Addilyn said as they got out and ran trying to escape the living zombies.
