I pull my phone out of the charger and shove it in my bag. I didn't think I'd ever see Ricky again, let alone hear from her so soon. I make my way down the hallway and then run down the creaky stairs. I can't wait for her to come and live here with me. Just like we always imagined we'd d when we grew up. I think I heard some other voices over the phone too, but I've got the room. I'm at the window now. I peel back the curtain I had nailed over the window and climb out. I walk around the side of the building, and then head left. She said she had reached the town sign, the same sign I walked past on my way in. She can't be far.

-------------

I counted four black vans zoom past me as I was walking. I'm hidden behind an old trashcan now. This town looks as if it hasn't been touched for twenty years so there's no way those vans are here without business. I pull out my phone and dial Ricky's number. I'm sure she's fine, I just need to hear her voice again to settle my stomach. She doesn't pickup the first time, or the second, nor the third. My heart beats faster with every missed call. All rationality has left my brain as I jump up from behind the trashcan and run towards my original destination. My legs start to give out after maybe two minutes. I was never a the athletic type. Again, with rationality gone I began to walk. I'm about halfway from the safety of the trashcan and the sign where I'm going. Even with my glasses I don't see anyone standing under or around the sign. I go to pull out my phone again and almost on que I hear another black van coming from behind me. It's engine naturally gets louder as it gets closer, but it's uncomfortably loud in my head. I walk a little faster but I don't run, I don't want to seem suspicious. The van slows down as it comes closer to match my walking speed as it rolls rides next to me. The driver rolls down his window but doesn't say anything. I look at him and give a fake smile. He doesn't return it. I look deeper into the van and fine a helmeted man in the passenger. He has a gun pointed at whoever or whatever is in the back seat. I try to look through the back widows but they're tinted. The man keeps driving next to me without saying a word. Everything in me is telling me to run, scream, hide, do something! But I'm terrified, and stuck in this walk. A phone rings inside the van and the driver picks it up. He attempts to keep a straight face but his eyes give away an evil smile. He nods at the man in the passenger seat who turns and points his gun at me.

"Spencer Reid, please get in the van"

I'm prepared to run but I stop as the van's door is automatically opened. Her eye's meet mine immediately. Her face is covered in a mix of dirt and what looks to be dried up blood. Her hair is a mess and clothes turn but without a doubt I know who it is.

Ricky.
