Jonah's pov

I was sitting in the living room, waiting for Daniel to come down. Currently he's in my parents' room and my mom is trying to cover up his bruises. I'm so curious about how he's going to look like. But my mom is good at make-up. So I guess it's gonna be fine.

While I was waiting, I was wondering if my mom knows that not all of those bruises are from Ben. Cause some of them are just simple hickeys. I mean the most of them.

After almost 15 minutes of waiting, I heard the door opening. So I stood up from the couch and I was slowly walking to the stairs. I looked up and saw Daniel coming down the stairs widely smiling. I smiled back at him. He was wonderful and absolutely without any bruises on his face or neck. I guess my mom did a magic trick. When he reached me, I looked up and down on him.

"What do you think?" he asked me smiling. I was almost speechless.

"I..oh my god...you are absolutely wonderful. I mean you always are...but...I have no words." I responded kind of shuttering. He laughed and gave me a sweet kiss.

When we pulled away, I saw my mom standing at the top of the stairs and smiling at us.

"How did you just do this mom?" I questioned. Daniel also turned that way and came next to me. I put my arm around him.

"It's a secret." she said laughing. "Between me and Daniel."

"Hey back off." I was joking. We all started laughing.

"Chill babe." Daniel said and kissed my cheek. Then I took his hand gently and we started to walk to the front door. When we reached the door, I opened it and let him go first. Meanwhile I looked back at my mom who was now standing in the hallway.

"I don't know when we're going to come back." I said. She nodded and laughed.

"Have fun." she said. I smiled and left the house.

"I hope that place you wanna take me to, is not that far cause walking there..." Daniel stopped when I took out the car keys from my pocket and smirked.

"Oh yeah. I have completely forgot that you have your drivers license." he was so adorable.

"I know right? I got it before we moved to L.A. so I haven't got any time to buy a car. But now we're back so I can buy one. But we're gonna take my mom's car now." I responded.

We went to the car on the driveway and got in.

Daniel's pov

After like 5 minutes of driving, Jonah pulled up to a restaurant. I was kind of excited. It's gonna be our first date. I hope everything is going to be okay. And if not then it's gonna be a funny memory.

We got out of the car. He reached his hand out and I took it interlacing our fingers. We walked in and took a seat at the table at the very end of the restaurant. It was kind of a hidden place. Perfect.

"This is a really nice place." I started. "I've never been here before."

"Then it's an honor for me that I'm the first to take you here." he said. We smiled at each other.

After we ordered the food, in 15 minutes it was already in front of us. We both decided to eat a nice steak. Mine was a steak and crispy potato salad with tomatoes, green beans and some other vegetables. And Jonah ordered a striploin steaks with roasted baby tomatoes and vegetables. Both of these plates of food looked absolutely yum yum. And when I tasted it..ugh it was so delicious.

"Oh my...this...is my new favorite food." I said while enjoying the food. Jonah looked up at me when he tasted his steak. He closed his eyes then.

"Hmmm there is heaven in my mouth right now." I started to laugh and he joined me when he opened his eyes again.

"Aww you're so cute baby." I said.

"You're way cuter than me babe." he leaned over to me and locked our lips together. Then he sat back and we finished the dinner. Then we stayed there for some time, discussing about his kind of trip to L.A.

"So he just simply said okay and that's it?" I asked.

"Yeah. I was surprised cause I thought his gonna be mad at us, but no. He just said that okay and stuff like that it's our choice if we wanna work there or not. I mean he was completely right."

"Yeah he couldn't hold us there anyway. No matter what." I replied.

"Exactly...he was really cool. And also he said that it was an honor to work with us." he said smiling.

"Wow...I mean it was kind of a good year...if we don't count the fact that some other things were happening.." I closed my eyes. I felt Jonah's hand on mine. I looked up at him and smiled weakly.

"Sorry." I whispered and took a deep breath.

"You okay?" he asked me while caressing my hand.

"Yes...I'm sorry. Ugh let's do something. I wanna forget about the past." I stated.

"You wanna go to a bar maybe?" he asked. "We can get some drinks and dance. It's gonna be fun."

"You can't drink cause you're driving." I said.

"Then we're just gonna dance. I really want to dance with you baby." he smiled at me.

"Okay, let's go to that bar." I responded with a smile on my face.

.............

We got out of the car again, but this time we were in front of a bar. It wasn't even 8P.M., but the bar was full and the music was so loud. But it wasn't bothering me at all cause I love loud music. I know it's kind of weird, but who cares.

We were hand in hand walking through the crowd of half drunk and dancing people. Then Jonah turned to me wrapping his arms around me, pulling me as close as possible. I also wrapped my arms around him and hid my face into his shoulder. The DJ was playing some slow songs right now, but I enjoyed it so much. It felt like there's no one else, just him and I. We were moving in the rhythm of the song. Then we pulled away from each other, but just enough to connect our lips. We were both smiling through the kiss, our lips moving in sync. Then he rested his forehead on mine while looking me in the eyes. It is a perfect first date. I can't ask for more.
