Jonah's pov

After lunch we all sat down in the living room. My dad also just arrived.

"I wanna thank everyone again for saving my life." Daniel said.

"What happened Daniel?" my dad started. "You looked like you just saw a ghost."

"I had hallucinations." Daniel responded sadly. I took his hand in mine. "I'm so sorry for causing problems."

"You're not causing problems Daniel...we're gonna help you and...you know...what that means." my mom said. I looked at Daniel and he nodded. He was so sad, but also I saw that he has hope in his eyes. He believes that he can get out of this...and it makes me feel better. I put my arm around him and he rested his head on my shoulder.

"I know a good therapist. I can contact them." my dad stated and my mom looked at him.

"Can you give me the number? I'm gonna call them." she said. My dad grabbed his phone and searched for the number. When he got it, he showed it to my mom and she dialed it. Then she walked to the kitchen.

"You good?" I asked Daniel quietly. He looked at me and smiled weakly.

"Don't worry sweetheart. I'm okay." I smiled back at him and kissed his forehead. He put his hand on my cheek and pressed his forehead to mine.

"I love you." he whispered.

"I love you too." I responded and kissed him. I completely forgot about my dad who was sitting near us. I don't know if he was embarrassed or something, but then my mom came back so whatever.

"So I called them and agreed an appointment. Today at 5P.M.. They currently canceled an appointment so it was a good timing." she said while sitting down on the couch next to me and Daniel.

"Thank you...for everything." Daniel said with tears in his eyes. I hugged him tightly while rubbing his back.

"No problem. You deserve happiness. And this is the first step." my mom said.

"You are the best mom...I love you." I responded with a smile on my face.

"I love you too...both of you guys." she said.

"It kind of feels like I'm a part of this family." Daniel said and a single tear escaped from his eye, then an other. He was lightly crying.

"Of course you are a part of our family..you belong to us." I said and wiped away his tears from his cheeks. He hugged me.

"Can we..go up? I'm not feeling so good right now." he sniffed and we pulled away. I nodded and turned to my parents.

"He needs to rest now..so..we're gonna go to my room." I said.

"Of course..I have to go back to work anyways." my dad replied.

We stood up and headed upstairs. I helped Daniel cause he was still a little bit weak. When we reached the door, I opened it and we got in. Then we sat down on the bed. Daniel covered his face with his hands.

"Daniel you okay?" I asked him with a fear in my voice. He let out a sigh and put his hands down into his lap. He was crying again. I put my arm around him and pressed my head to his.

"Babe what's wrong?" I asked quietly.

"I..I don't know..ugh this is so stupid." he was sobbing.

"Shhh it's gonna be okay. Don't worry sweetheart. Everything is gonna be fine. I promise." I was whispering in his ear, trying to calm him down. "I believe in you babe. You're strong. You got it." I placed a kiss on his cheek and he took my hand interlacing our fingers.
