Illusions shatter—and Sophie and her friends face impossible choices—in this astonishing eighth book in the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series.

Sophie Foster wants answers. But after a lifetime of lies, sometimes the truth is the most dangerous discovery. Even the smallest secret comes with terrifying new responsibilities.

And Sophie's not the only one with blank spots in her past, or mysteries surrounding her family. She and her friends are part of something much bigger than they imagined—and their roles have already been chosen for them.

Every clue drags them deeper into the conspiracy. Every memory forces them to question everything—especially one another. And the harder they fight, the more the lines blur between friend and enemy.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

OKAY I'M GOOD!!!!

Guys.....this.....freaking.....killed me.

So, first paragraph, lovely. Not going to go into that here. 2nd paragraph, also lovely....that's also lovely, but i'm Going to talk about that in my KOTLC Oneshots book. Sooooo.....3rd paragraph here we come!

"Every memory forces them to question everything—especially each other. And the harder they fight, the more the lines blur between friend and enemy."

*cue incoherent screaming and heavy sobbing*

Can someone just delete this paragraph and write TAM in big red letters, because honestly, I feel like is pointing a neon sign at him.

"Every memory forces them to question everything-another."

So basically in this summary, we know it's going to be very Keefe heavy. Whatever. But IT NEEDS TO BE TAM HEAVY!!!! YOU CANNOT JUST DROP A BOMB LIKE THAT AND WALK AWAY!! (Heh Magnus Chase). WE'RE THE ONES THAT NEED ANSWERS!!!!

So anyway, the whole doubting each other scares me. I think Fitz is going to be the first to start revealing doubts about Tam's motives, just because he was with Keefe on the prejudices against shades before they met him and he doesn't know him very well.

"The harder they fight, the more the lines blur between friend and enemy."

NO!! NO NO NONONO!!!!

Tam is going to make some.....questionable choices. The Neverseen are going to threaten Linh, and he's going to do whatever it takes to protect her, even if it means losing his friends and hurting himself in the process.

GUYS THIS IS SCARING MEEEEEEEEEE
