Hannah woke up bright and early the next day, not looking forward to the event in the evening in the slightest. Dragging her feet out of bed, she goes through her morning process a little slower today, her movements sluggish and droopy. When she finishes her normal routine, she leaves her hotel room 15 minutes later than usual.
When stepping out of her hotel room, her foot kicks over a little basket placed before her door. Hannah looks at the basket in confusion, and wonders who would place it right in front of the door. She goes to pick up the basket when a little note falls out of the hamper, it saying;
"Would you do me the honour of attending the ball with me later this evening?
-A"
The hamper was filled to the brim with sweets and chocolate. Flowers decorated the outside of it, and a cute pink ribbon was wrapped around the handle. Hannah didn't exactly like anything in the basket, it being too sweet-tasting for her liking, and she did not like the décor of it either. But still, she cannot help but smile at the gesture. 'Was he that scared to ask me in person?' Hannah wondered, but shook off the thought to find the boy and reply to his question.
She places the hamper back inside her room but holds onto the note. Placing the paper into her pocket, Hannah releases Weavile from her Pokéball and Weavile hops onto Hannah's shoulder in her normal position.
The two walk into the elevator and soon enough arrive at the ground floor. Hannah abnormally begins walking with a spring in her step as she exits the building, but first checking if there were any lingering paparazzi. It seemed luck was on her side today as there were no lingering members of the press.
Running out the doors, Hannah tries to find the boy in question, wondering where he may be, her thoughts settled on trying his hotel room first. Going for the Rouge building, Hannah hopes the boy in question is currently there, but when she arrives discovers that he's already left, thanks to the help of the concierge.
"I'm afraid he and his friends have already left the building." She answers Hannah. The concierge lady puts down the phone she used to call their hotel room and turns to her friend.
"Have you seen the residents of room leave today?" She asks her male co-worker. He immediately looks down to see who they are she's referring to, looking at his screen for a few seconds and turns back to the two women, "Yeah, they left here around 10 minutes ago, saying how they were going to train at the battleground in the Violet building."
"Thank you!" Hannah yells out and quickly runs out of the building. She darts towards the Violet building, in hopes to catch him before he can get any further away.
Passing the Rose building, Hannah glances towards the main building and sees a petit girl running around her similar looking brother. As soon as Hannah sees them, she glances around for Ash, who at that moment wasn't with the pair. So, she decides to try being nice to them and converse. Walking up towards the two, Bonnie spots Hannah before she can say a word.
"Hi, Hannah!" The child yells at the arrival of the said girl, and Hannah slightly waves back in acknowledgement. Clemont looks up from his backpack to see Hannah standing there, albeit awkwardly, and exchanges formalities with her.
"I know you're looking for Ash," Bonnie claims, looking the older girl dead in the eye. Hannah externally appears to be unfazed by the comment. But internally, Hannah mind is going off like crazy, "Yeah, I am indeed. Do you know where he is?"
Before Bonnie has the chance to smugly answer, Clemont saves Hannah from it, "He went back to the hotel, and Serena forgot something and asked Ash to go with him."
