The next day follows soon after, and the second round of battles is about to begin. Tierno's battle is up first, his trainer only getting into the second round purely on luck. His Blastoise absolutely demolishing the opposing trainer's Butterfree, Rhydon and Corsola.

The second battle was Alain. His opponent was a little harder to deal with, her having a powerhouse Abomsnow. But, Charizard's Flamethrower made it a simple K.O.

The following battle was Sawyer's. His Sceptile easily defeating the rock-type trainer, who solely uses pure rock types.

A few battles later is Hannah. Her opponent is an extremely boastful girl who thought that type meant everything. So, Hannah sent out her Greninja and she sent out her Chesnaught. Hannah shut her up very quickly.

And lastly was Ash. He really needed to win this battle, so he once again sent his Greninja. He finishes the battle rather quickly as well. Soon, it was mid-afternoon. Ash was about to separate from his group when he received questions upon his departure.

"Hey Ash, where are you going?" Bonnie questions, the rest of them look up to see Ash facing the opposite direction until he turns his head at the question.

"Oh, um... I'm just going to train in the forest." He answers, only to receive a follow-up question from Serena, "Do you want us to go with you?"

"Oh no, I wouldn't want to trouble you at all. And, today I feel like doing it by myself." Ash may feel bad for lying, but he doesn't want any of his friends interrupting their first training session together.

"Oh, okay. Be safe!" Clement tells him before the three of them turn to walk the opposite direction, away from Ash. "Meet us at the café in the Rose building at 3 o'clock for afternoon tea."

"Which one?" Ash asks. "Café Milton," Clemont replies, almost shouting due to Ash still walking to the forest. "Okay, bye!" Ash yells and continues to walk fast into the forest, not even hearing the reply he received from Clemont.

"Okay buddy, let's go meet her," Ash tells his most trusted partner before they head towards the forest behind the Vert building.

Ash arrives promptly, just entering the clearing in the forest, only to see no other trainers nearby. Ash is now confused about the whereabouts of Hannah.

'Where is she? You would think she would be here before m-' His thoughts were caught off by a figure jumping out of the tree behind him, and having a steady landing.

Ash slightly jumps back in shock, not prepared for someone to be jumping out of a tree. The figure straightens their posture and begins to walk over to Ash with a menacing and cold look on her face, it was Hannah.

Ash cowers back a little, she looks so menacing, even scarier than when he pissed Misty off several times all the way back in his adventures in Kanto.

The look pierces through him for a few moments, but Hannah then begins to relax her shoulders and put her hand behind her head sheepishly. "Sorry about that one Ash. Had to make sure none of your friends were with you."

Hannah then straightens her posture and puts her hands on her hips before saying, "Let's start again. Hi, my name is Hannah, and I'm from Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh region." Hannah extends her arm to be shaken by Ash, only to see Ash's completely shocked face and frozen body.

"What's wrong?" Hannah questions. Ash then quickly straightens up himself and is confused about what to say. "W-what are- who a-are you?" Ash stutters seeing a completely new Hannah before him.

"The Hannah that you met before, isn't the real me. It's the Hannah I made up so people don't really approach me. The look of cool and calculative really gives off that vibe of someone who is really smart and profound. When really, I'm not. I'm just a regular trainer." Hannah begins to explain to Ash.

"So, the Hannah in front of me is the real Hannah?" Ash ponders. "Exactly right. I usually use my fake Hannah when I'm in a league or competition only, you know? Need to keep that same persona in front of a camera."

"Okay then," Ash begins "Well, hello again! My name is Ash from Pallet town in the Kanto region, it's nice to meet you!" They then shake hands once again and receive a small shock this time.

Neither of them acknowledges it though and Ash continues on speaking, "I only know of your Weavile and Lucario. Who is the rest of your team?" Ash asks her.

"You're going to need to battle me to find out, Ash," Hannah tells him, and they then head for the clearing to commence the battle.

Hannah then pulls a necklace out of her pocket, a simple silver chain with a shrunken Pokéball attached and places it around her neck. Ash was going to ask her about it, but Hannah cut him off before he could ask anything about it.

"I already know of your Pikachu and Greninja, I'm excited to see your other 4 Pokémon," Hannah tells him. "Um, yeah about that..." Ash begins, "My 6th Pokémon is currently in the Wetlands, keeping the peace between the other Pokémon there. He'll be back for when the 6 on 6 battles begin."

"If, you make it," Hannah says, winking at Ash while doing so. Ash's cheeks heat up slightly at this action. "I've only got 4 Pokémon; two of mine are currently helping the professor. We can have a 3 on 3 instead."

Ash nods his head at this, agreeing to the proposal. Hannah grabs a Pokéball out of her pocket and throws it in the air, releasing Hannah's own Greninja. "Greninja, could you please be the referee?" Hannah asked her Pokémon, and she nodded, getting up and standing in the middle of the two trainers.

"You ready?" Ash asks Hannah with a burning look in her eye. Hannah sends a smirk his way, and says, "As ready as I'll ever be."

"Alright, then let's begin!"
