He liked her , as in liked her ! No , that's not okay . he can't .. just can't like her . He's just trying to make me jealous right ?

"So Jor , Keenen just text me saying how sorry he is ." Danie chirped happily , I turned my head to her . "Oh yeah ?"  I asked ."Mhm" she grinned back "Cool ."  I said back unintetested .

We were still at Sergio's Restaurant and the waitress had finally brought out my Salsbury steak with a side of mashed potatoes and dried carrots . "Thanks ." I murmered . She smiled warmly and turned to Devin , I cleared my throat loudly ; "Thank you" I said more loudly , rudely dismissing her . She turned her head sharply to me , rolled her eyes , and walked sharply away . That's right .

Devin studied me as he sipped his favorite drink , pepsi . I avoided his gaze as I cut into my salsbury , he put his drink down . He was still staring , what the hell is he thinking about ? I popped the peice of steak into my mouth and chewed slowly as I finally met his gaze .

"You and Jas could really get along if only you'd try ." He said . I almost choked , I grabbed my water and took a long sip .

Try ?

Try what ? If only I tried ? What does that mean ? Is he blaming me for what happened ! "Excuse me ?" I growled through gritted teeth .

He smirked . I lost it

"You're the one who lied about me going out of town with you ! You're the one who kissed me ! You're the one who tried to downplay the way that I looked just to make your boney faced perfect girlfriend feel better ! You're the one playing with people's feelings without a care in the goddamn world ! You kiss me on fuckin purpose just to say it was a mistake Devin ! You wanted to hurt me . You wanted me to feel pain you fu-fucking bastard ." I sobbed loudly . "You wanted to break me and it worked ! Congradufuckinlations ." I screamed as I threw my drink in his face .

Danie and everyone else who'd seen the breakdown had their mouths agape . I felt like I was having and asthma attack . I slid out of the booth , ran towards the door , and sprinted as fast as my legs would let me .

"Jor !" I heard Danie cry . That only made me run faster , Danie could never catch me .

As I ran , I turned left , then right , right again , then left . I turned and stopped in the middle of an alley . I breathed sharply as I tried to catch my breath . As sat on the nearest wall as I tried to control my breathing .

How could he ? He doesn't give up . Can't he see that i'm broken ?! He's taken it too far , he made me blow up in the front of his sister ! I'd love to hear him explain that , he should have just left it alone .

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket , I already knew who it was . Danie .

I checked it anyway . I froze

Devin ?

Why ? no , no , no . Just stop ! Im broken , you've succeeded . Let me be please ! I pushed my phone roughly in my pocket , I wiped my tears harshly from my face as they spilled over .

"Hey , you okay love ?" I heard a deep angelic voice ask nicely . I looked towards the voice ; Hotel hottie . I blinked harshly , was he talking to me ? No shit sherlock .

I quickly got to my feet and brushed the dirt from my white shorts .

"Fine ." I said quietly , he chuckled . "Really now ? Why are you in a drug lords alley then ? Do you know how much trouble you'd get in if I wasn't the one who'd found you ?" He asked as he chuckled . My eyes widened as he spoke , drug lord ?

"Im not gonna hurt you ." He said as amusement danced in his eyes , his two different colored eyes . One brown , one green . "So what does that make you ?" I asked . He raised one eye in confusement , "Wha-"

"You said this was a drug lord's alley , and you're here . I'm guessing you know these people if you were brave enough to set foot in their territory ." I explained . He nodded as I spoke . "I know of them , i'm not necessarily one of them ." He grinned .

I found myself wanting to grin back , he spoke again . "What brings you here , in this alley , in that fragile little state of yours ." He asked in a more serious tone . I wiped my smile away . "I-"

"We should get outta here ." He said sharply . He walked towards me in one swift motion , grabbed my elbow and walked me towards the downtown area . "Wha-"

"Shh" He said sharply , and so I did . He guided me towards this bakery that smelled of muffins and freshly baked cookies . He let his tight grip of my elbow loose as he guided me towards a nearby booth . He sat across from me , I watched him with my mouth open . This dude just dragged me to a goddamn bakery and I just let him ! What if he would have tooken me to a van ?! Thanks Devin , you've not only broken me , but you've made me weak as well !

"You dragged me to a godda-"

"Hey lower your voice , we're in public ." He whispered sharply , I did as I was told . What is up with that ? Letting random strangers demand me ? "What's your name ?" He asked as he cocked one head to the side . I lowered my gaze , "Are you shy ?" He asked as he laughed loudly . I snapped my head to him sharply , "Not even ." I scoffed as I rolled my eyes .

"Do you have a staring problem ?" I asked as he stopped laughing . "Nope , definitely not shy ." He murmured . I grinned , "You don't like to be looked at ?" He asked clearly amused . "Why did you drag me here ?" I asked annoying his question completely . "Won't you answer my question ?" He asked cocking his head to one side for the second time . It was annoying .

"Answer mine ." I said flatly , he grinned . "What's your name ?" he asked again . I rolled my eyes , "You look familiar ." I murmured to myself , he raised his eyebrows . "What ?" He asked .

"Have you by any chance been to Atlanta ?" I asked as I leaned into him , I was studying him closely . He froze , he has ! "No , my dad lives there ." He said quickly . "What's your name ?" I asked impatiently . He grinned , "You first ." he said .

"No seriously ." I breathed impatiently . He raised one eyebrow , and leaned back into his seat . "Jordan ." I whispered impatiently , he grinned widely . "Drake Drew Mathews Jr ." He said proudly with his chin high .
