Part 4

Me and Rin were walking out of the building, listening to a new swimmer talk about his race to us. Then behind us we heard a familiar voice. "Rin! Hibiki!" We turned around and saw Haruka. "Go on ahead." Rin said. "Okay." The others replied. "What's up?" I asked Haruka. "I need to talk to you both. Come to Iwatobi high later." He replied. "What for?" Rin asked. "Are we settling the score there?" "You'll know when you come." Haruka said.

We were both standing outside of Iwatobi high. "Haruka! We're here!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "Geez, you didn't have to be that loud." Rin said. "Oops! I'll be quieter now." I said, lowering my voice to normal. We then started to walk up the steps on the side of the building. "He asked us here, and where is he now?" Rin said. I then tried opening one of the doors. "Hey Rin!" I shouted. "It's open!" "I thought you were going to be more quiet." Rin said. "Oops!" I said covering my mouth. I then took my hand off of my face and pulled the door open. We then both walked in. "Why is it so dark in here?" I asked. Then Rin made a funny noise. Like a gasp. "Bring them!" I familiar voice said. I then felt arms grab mine and a blindfold was put on me. "What the, hey let me go!" Rin yelled. "Come along quietly." A voice said. "What? Hey!" Rin said. "Haru-chan, the sentence ending." A voice I recognized as Nagisa's said. "Come along quietly Moge." Haru said. I started to laugh. I didn't know what was going on but I was enjoying it. "Don't Moge me! Let me go!" Rin yelled. "Oh no! Don't take my brother away!" I heard Gou yell. "Gou! You're here too?" Rin asked. "Hi Gou!" I said waving my hand. "Hi Hibiki!" I heard her say. "Rin stop kicking!" I could hear a voice say. "Yeah! You should learn more manners Rin!" I said. "Are you in on this too!?" Rin yelled. "I can't see a thing!" I said, giggling at the end. "You seem to be taking this surprisingly well Hibiki." I heard Makato say. "Yeah, you aren't struggling as much as Rin is." Rei said. "Because this is fun!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "Fun?!" Rin asked. "Will you guys give it a-!" I heard Rin yell. My blindfold was then pulled off of me. I opened my eyes and saw a pool. The most amazing pool I had ever seen. A pool full of cherry blossoms.

"Wow! This tree is huge!" Rin said. "Is it a cherry blossom tree?" I asked. "It is." Makato replied. "Yeah? So come spring there'll be a whole bunch of blossoms falling down into the pool." Rin said. "I wanna try swimming in a pool full of cherry blossoms!" I said, jumping up. "Yeah! We can make it out new goal!" Rin said. "The water will be too cold." Makato said. "You should wait until summer before swimming." "I was just joking around, you don't have to get so serious." Rin said. "Well I was being very serious, when it's spring I don't care how cold it is, I will swim in cherry blossoms!" I said, my determined face on.

It was our goal. To swim in a pool full of cherry blossoms. "When we were in grade school, you guys once said you wanted to swim in a pool of cherry blossoms." Haruka said, sanding besides us holding a....paper mâché bird head? "The idea was to open the pool early to attract new members." Makato said. "Thanks to Ama-Chan's hard work!" Nagisa added. "Though it still resulted in zero members." Rei said, disappointed. "But since we got to see our pool of cherry blossoms as a result, we wanted to show it to you guys too." Makato said. "You guys." Rin said. He then pulled away, looking like he was about to cry. I could feel a tear of joy Rin down my face. "Amazing." I said. "Go for it." Everyone said. "I guess I'll let you guys swim in it just this once." Haruka said. I then immediately started to strip. "Well, I do want to swim in it, but it's still kind of cold." Rin said. "Don't be so negative Rin!" I said, already in my swimsuit. "Onii-chan, take that stuff off!" Gou said, starting to pull out a camera. Then Rei and Nagisa started to push him towards the pool. "Don't be bashful!" Nagisa said. I'm not being bashful! Hey! Seriousy stop!" Rin said. Then we could see rain coming down. "It's cold!" Gou yelled. Then everyone went to take cover from the rain. All exept for me of course. "Come on Hibiki! You'll get soaked!" I heard Rin yell. "It won't matter!" I yelled back. "Come on, come over here!" Makato yelled. "Never in a million years!" I yelled. "I made it a goal to swim in a pool full of cherry blossoms and I will not pass up this opportunity!" I then ran and jumped into the water. Even though it was cold, I could see the cherry blossoms start to disperse all over the water. I then felt a major burst of cold water send chills through my spine. I popped up out of the water, opening my mouth open wide to take a breath. "It's cold!" I screamed. "Idiot! Come back here!" Rin yelled.

"Never!" I replied diving back down into the water. I swam like a mermaid watching cherry blossoms float down to the bottom of the pool. I felt so alive! Maybe it was the rush of the freezing water, or maybe it was the exhilaration I was feeling from swimming in a pool like this. I then swam up to take a huge breath again. I opened my mouth wide again as I reached air. I then felt something weird on my tongue. I took the object off and realized it was a cherry blossom. "Ewww!" I screamed while wiping my tongue off with my mouth. "One was in my mouth!" I said. I looked over and everyone was laughing. That made me smile.
