"Those canisters.." Rin said to me while he was in my room. I looked at him with curiosity, wanting to know what he was going to say next. "What are those for?" He asked me. "Um," I started to reply. "There, for my family." I said to him. He looked confused. "Why would y family want you to have these?" Rin asked me. "Well, because. Actually, I don't think they ever told me that they wanted me to have these." I said to him. "Is there somthing important ant inside?" He asked me. "Yeah, there is." I replied to him. "May I take a look?" He asked me. "Go ahead." I said in a kinda whisper, looking down at my bed sheets. Rin reached over in his chair and grabbed a canister. He opened it up and looked at what was inside. He looked back at me again, a look of pity in his eyes. "These are..." He said to me. "Yes, this is my family now." I said to him. "I-I had no idea." He said to me, putting my mom back on the table. "I-It's okay." I replied to him. "I didn't expect you to know."
"You never told me what was wrong with your wrist." Rin asked me, leaning in his chair towards me. "Why won't you tell me?" He asked. "B-Because I-I just, well b-because," I started to say, trying to find the right words to explain. "Because I didn't want to hurt your feelings." I said to him. "Why would it hurt my feelings?" He asked me.
"It happened last school year, when you were doughting yourself of your abilities, and you said you were going to quit swimming." I said to him, he looked intureged. "You pushed me off you when I was giving you a hug from behind, I landed against the window and then, then..." I said, tears starting to form in my eyes. "So...it was my fault..." He said. "Rin, it wasn't your fault. I'll be fine! It wasn't your fault." I said, begging him not to be depressed. His head hung low so I couldn't see his eyes. "I've been meaning to give this to you, but now seems like the right time." Rin said to me. Why did he suddenly change the subject? He then reached into his pocket and grabbed out a charm bracelet. He placed it into the palm of my hand and I loved it. There was different charms on it, a dolphin, a killer whale, a penguin, a butterfly, a shark, a whale shark, a seal, a otter, and a starfish. It was amazing! "I-I don't know what to say Rin..." I said. "Thank you."
