I followed him with no hesitation, I wanted answers and I wanted them now. I trusted Jarrod with my life even in the short time of knowing him. I looked down at our hands weirdly enjoying the little tingles that went up my arm. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked back at Jarrod’s face. He stopped walking when I realized we were in front of a cabin that was in the middle of nowhere.
“Is this your place?”
I let go of his hand walking up the steps to the front door. I opened it letting it creak open all the way before stepping into the dark room. When Jarrod turned on the light I gasped. There was stuff everywhere. Books scattered the floor and tables. Papers were all over the walls. It looked like he had spent years creating this organized mess.
“What is this place Jarrod? What is all of this?”
I asked turning around and looking at him wanting the truth.
“This darling is the answers to everything.”
