I didn't wait to see if he followed me as I continued to walk further away. I came to the side of the road and began to walk back to town. Taking my time enjoying the rain. By the time I reached town the sun had set and the moon had rised. I sighed making my way to my apartment. I ducked into an alley going to the fire escape climbing up until I reached my bedroom window. Sliding the window open with ease I slipped into my bedroom landing with a hard thump. I groaned as the wind blew sending rain into my room soaking me. I jumped to my feet closing the window quite quickly not wanting my bed to het wet. It was the best thing I owned.

I stripped out of my wet clothes throwing them into the tub walking to my kitchen completely naked.

"Well hello darling."

I screamed jumping back tripping over my own feet I landed on my ass once more. I looked around grabbing the sweater off the desk chair I put it on quickly as possible.

"Okay one you just scared the living shit out of me I could have had a heart attack! Two how the fuck did you get into my apartment?!?"

I stayed put on the floor making sure my body was covered with the sweater.

"Didn't mean to scare you and the landlord let me in he's a pal of mine"

He chuckled holding out a blanket for me to take. I sighed taking it I covered up with it as I got up heading towards my kitchen to get a snack.

"Okay pretty sure that really isn't allowed but anyways what do you want?"

I looked over at him on my couch as I sat down at the island eating a yogurt.

"Well darling I couldn't get what you said out of my mind so I just wanted to make sure that you are okay."

I rolled my eyes throwing my trash away licking my spoon off I threw it in the sink with the rest of the dishes.

"I am never okay so actually do me a favor and just leave"

I snapped going to my bedroom and slamming the door shut leaning against it. I stood there listening to him chuckle from the couch. Mumbling curse words I stripped out of the sweater and crawled into my bed burying myself within the covers. Without even giving the man that was unwelcomed in my living room a second thought before drifting into a deep sleep.
