After a very brief tour of the palace, the guard who had greeted them at the entrance guided them towards their bedroom.

"This room won't be your permanent room since we still need to discuss on some things." The guard, Seungcheol, says.

He opens the door to let the three in. Junhui eyes comically widen at the space in the room. Three beds were splayed side by side and looked to be ready for sleeping. Next to the beds were two glass doors leading to balcony overlooking the palace gardens.

"I'm pretty sure Soonyoung told you not to bring you clothes, so there are some pyjamas in that closet over there." Seungcheol points to the closet at the far end of the room. "Ah, I need to go now. Make yourself at home, and try not to wander around the palace since it is kinda you might get lost easily." He says as he lets himself out the door.

The three stand in the middle of the room, not knowing what to do. Eventually Wonwoo tosses his bag onto the bed nearest to the glass doors.

"Aight, i'm gonna shower first, see y'all in an hour." He says as he trots his way to the bathroom. Joshua sighs and shakes his head.

The pink haired boy places his bag on the middle bed while Junhui does the same. They both lay down on the heavenly soft beds and stare at the ceiling in silence.

"You okay?" Junhui asks him after a few minutes of silence. Joshua nods. "Yeah, It's just...a lot to unpack, y'know?"

"Yeah... one minute you were yelling at Wonwoo for not bringing an umbrella and the next we're in the royal palace of Ahomore." Joshua laughs and turns to the younger's direction.

He furrows his eyebrows in thought. "Now that I think of it, why are we here?"

"Aren't you gonna be the king's personal guard or something?"

"Yeah but, what if that's just to lure us in here? They probably just want some new people to work here." Joshua sits up and slightly smiles at the younger.

"I'm sure the royals here aren't that cruel. And if that is what's happening, I'll make sure to call our parents to bust us our asses outta here." Junhui chuckles at his words.

The thought of their parents makes him feel a wave of sadness since they had to leave them so abruptly. He remembers the emotional goodbyes exchanged few hours ago before leaving for the palace. The two obviously weren't their actual parents, but the two had risked so much to raise the three of them so young in their age that it was impossible to not call them a part of his family.

As soon as he finishes his thought the bathroom door bursts open with a Wonwoo wearing a towel around his waist and an object in his hand.

"They have soap, but get this- it has gold filings in it." Wonwoo says and Junhui immediately shoots up from his bed to take a look.

Joshua smiles at the two looking curiously at the bar of soap and goes up to look as well.

That night the room is filled with laughter and happiness as the three of them find something fascinating in each and every crevice of the fancy room.
