As quietly as she could, Lillian pulled the muffins out of the oven. She knew she should have just stayed in the room and read a book or waisted time online, but she was restless and baking always seemed to calm her nerves.

Last night did not go at all how she expected, and for that she was thankful. She didn't want to get her hopes up coming here to Korea, so she had tried to be reasonable and think of everything that could have happened instead of what she was hoping would happen.

But as soon as she saw Donghae, all her reason went out the window. She had not expected the flood of emotion that rushed over her the minute they touched.

After he told her that he loved her, they spent the rest of the night talking. She made sure to apologize for the manner in which she had told him her feelings over a month ago because it had ruined his night. He actually thanked her for doing that because it helped him to examine his feelings. Lillian had no idea the amount of uncertainty he had been feeling. But she reassured him that she was happy and just wanted to be with him. She was in love with him, that gave her the confidence that whatever might come up, they would be able to handle it together.

Lost in her thoughts, she jumped when she felt arms wrap around her waist. She could feel his warm breath on her neck as he lay his chin on her shoulder. "What are you doing up? It's three in the morning." His voice sounded husky as he spoke softly into her ear. She shivered, closing her eyes to enjoy the sensation. Donghae noticed and smiled.

"I'm sorry I was trying to be quiet since you were sleeping on the couch. I didn't mean to wake you." She turned around to face him and wondered how he looked ever better now than he did the night before. "My internal clock is off since it's day time in California right now."

"Oh." He gazed into her eyes and smiled. "Was the bed at least comfortable?" Reaching up, he brushed a stray hair off her face.

"Yes, but I still feel bad for taking it." Taking a chance, she closed the small distance between them and planted a small kiss on his cheek. She let her lips linger there for a moment when she heard Donghae's breath quicken.

He pulled her closer, making sure their faces were only a mere inch from each other. "It's going to be so hard to let you go in two weeks."

Lillian's expression changed. "That's not what I expected you to say." She frowned.

He smirked. "I wasn't finished." Raising his eyebrow at her, he moved his hands up and stroked her back. "After you fell asleep, I reorganized my schedule so that I could come see you at least once a month, if not more."

Her eyes lit up. "Donghae, really?!"

The smile she had on her face made his heart jump. He felt himself being tempted by how attractive she looked as he held her in his arms. Her hair was in a loose ponytail on the top of her head. She wore shorts that showed off most of her legs and an oversized shirt that hung off her shoulders. Fighting the urge to drown her in kisses, his voice came out in a weird pitch. "Yeah and," he cleared his throat, calming his ever-growing nerves. She gave him a funny look as he continued. "I didn't get a chance to tell you but yesterday they verified a concert venue in Los Angeles in a little over a month."

Excitement in her face, she no longer restrained herself and jumped a little in his arms. "Oh, my goodness! You mean I get to finally see you perform in person?!"

Her excitement made him feel giddy. If he had the chance to make her feel this happy every day, he would be willing to exchange anything for it. "Yes. Teukkie made sure we added LA and New York to the tour. And yesterday we all booked the rental for the week that we perform there too."
