I AM ALIVE!!!

*Third Person*

For the rest of that night, neither Izuku or (Y/n) spoke. Izuku went straight to his room while (Y/n) climbed up to the roof, where he'd been several times before. While Izuku pulled up his all-time favorite video (Y/n) thought back on the news of the night.

*flashback*

"There was a sole survivor of the Akomish," the newscaster is saying, "she claims that without Shockwave she wouldn't be. The woman's name is Betty Austin (I went with Austin because it was her voice actresses last name and I couldn't find her last name. She isn't directly related to you which is why it isn't Rowe.) and she says that despite the death of the rest of her tribe she will stay on her homeland." Betty made it out. That thought settles in (Y/n)'s head, calming his racing mind slightly.

"To the family of Shockwave," the newscaster says, "if you're out there, we wish you the best." Some heroes let there lives out there for everyone to see, Delsin wasn't like that. He told his friends, other heroes, no one he didn't trust. After that Izuku and (Y/n) left to go home.

*End flashback*

The vision of (Y/n)'s assumed mother standing over his classmates enters his mind. "I have to get stronger." He clenches his fist and lets smoke radiate from his skin. "I'll avenge you, I'll avenge you all." The rest of the night smoke rises from the building.

*time skip*

The following day the students of Class 1-A are discussing the news coverage of both the USJ attack and the death of Shockwave. (Y/n) sits in his assigned seat behind Sara and next to Jiro. His dominant hand rests on his desk, clenched into a fist and colored a deep red. As if he shoved it into a pot of boiling water.

"You guys!" Hagakure calls the attention of her classmates. "Did you watch the news last night? It was so cool how we got a few seconds of screen time. Though I bet nobody noticed me hanging out in the background."

"Probably not," Shoji points out the irony of her statement.

"It is difficult to stand out when you're just gloves." Ojiro points out. "Or when a hero is reported dead afterward."

"We're totally big deals," Kaminari puts his hands behind his head before leaning back in his seat.

"(Y/n)," Sara attempts to grab (Y/n)'s attention though he seems to be distracted by something. "What happened to your hand?"

"Those news channels love us, we're basically celebrities." Kaminari continues.

"Yeah, it's kinda crazy, right?" Kirishima questions from behind Kaminari while Jiro sitting next to Kaminari twirls her earphone around her finger.

"Get over yourselves. The hero course that pumps out pros was attacked, that's what they care about." Jiro interrupts the boys.

"Who knows what woulda happened to us if the teachers hadn't shown up," Sero adds to the conversation. "Probably something like what happened to the number four hero." (Y/n)'s body clenches up at the mention, not going unnoticed by the two students watching him, Sara and Todoroki.

Sara is about to say something when ball-boy jumps up with tears streaming down his face and snot running from his nose, "why'd you say that? I'm gonna pee myself just thinking about it." Momo looks up from the book she was previously reading to see the boy in front of her freaking out before Bakugo jumps in.

"Oh, shut up!" Izuku, who sits between the boys seems to jump in response as well. "Grow a pair, loser!"

The rest of the class has adjusted to Bakugo's temper and ball-boy's anxious nature so they continue with their conversation. A well-built boy with a big mouth, Sato (Don't think I've introduced him yet if I have apologies for this.), speaks next, "Did you guys see All Might fighting the bird guy?" He takes a few punches in the air. "That dude was super strong, and he still destroyed him!"
