I'm Adrienne Prevost, by the way, and I call myself Adri for short (pronounced like Linh Adri).

Genissa Clark, personal interview

ADRIENNE: Miss Clark, how are you today?

CLARK: I'm fine - today's been quite chill.

ADRIENNE: I'm sure it has, for someone with your abilities. Could you describe them?

CLARK: As a prodigy, I can control ice and snow, as well as lower temperatures. Cool, right?

ADRIENNE: (laughing) It does sound impressive. When did you find out about these powers? Do you have a chilling origin story?

CLARK: You are catching on, I see. I suppose it all started when I was very little - maybe three or four - and I saw snow for the first time. I ran outside and jumped in it, not realizing it would be that cold. I went into shock, and I caught hypothermia. Everyone thought I had died until I opened my eyes and found I could control snow instead of dying from it. Quite mind-numbingly lame, I know, but I really didn't have a choice in the matter.

ADRIENNE: I see. Were your powers very strong then, or did you have to train to have them at their current level?

CLARK: I've been training for quite a while now, and my powers have most definitely improved.

ADRIENNE: And how does one "train"?

CLARK: I work with my powers and try to freeze a room solid and keep it there sometimes, or I work on crafting detailed objects like weapons. Occasionally, I'll create ice cubes for my team's drinks.

ADRIENNE: I'd love to have someone like you on my reporting team. So, how did you become interested in the Renegades organization?

CLARK: I suppose I'd always had an interest in the Renegades. They were just so heroic, making the world a better place, you know? I wanted to be like that. I wanted to help people.

ADRIENNE: Quite a lovely sentiment. We need more people like you in the city, Frostbite.

CLARK: Really, I'm just doing my job - to the Renegade Council and to my morals.

ADRIENNE: I'm glad. The city is a safer place with you protecting everyone.

CLARK: I really appreciate it, but really, I'd protect Gatlon if my life depended on it.

ADRIENNE: And have you?

CLARK: Yes, I have. My team and I have fought many, many villains, and we've been within an inch of our lives before - all for Gatlon's safety.

ADRIENNE: Thank you for your dedicated service to Gatlon city, Miss Clark, and I hope you continue to support civilians. And, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to talk to me.

CLARK: Of course. Anytime.

Gargoyle, personal interview

ADRIENNE: Good afternoon, Mr. Trevor Dunn. You're Gargoyle, correct?

DUNN: Yes, I am.

ADRIENNE: And what is your prodigious ability?

DUNN:  I can morph my body into solid stone whenever I desire.

ADRIENNE: That sounds very useful indeed.

DUNN: It is, truly. It's especially helpful in fights because most weapons break against my skin.

ADRIENNE: Impressive. How fast can you transform your whole body to stone? That is, what is your reaction time?

DUNN: Quite fast, I'd reckon, though I've never timed it.

ADRIENNE: Can you move while you've turned to stone?

DUNN: Not as fast, no, but it's not impossible. Everything just feels really heavy.

ADRIENNE: I see. Were you born with your powers?

DUNN: I was. My origin story isn't as interesting as Frostbite's, unfortunately. My younger sister also has this power, though. It runs in the family.

ADRIENNE: How did you become interested in joining the Renegades?

DUNN: Our entire team loves helping people out. The Renegades did. It was only expected that we'd join.

ADRIENNE: Pardon my pun here, but you're saying that your decision to join the Renegades was essentially set in stone?

DUNN: You could say that.

ADRIENNE: Unfortunately, I have other obligations, and I can't spend any more time speaking with you, though I would love to. I feel very secure with you defending our city.

DUNN: I'm glad to hear that.

ADRIENNE: Thanks for your time, Gargoyle.
