Lena's Pov:
Oh how the holidays annoy me to no end, the relentless Christmas music, the gross holiday flavors the put in everything the hot itchy sweaters I just can't handle it. Well that's not all true, ever since I asked y/n to go out with me I've been able to handle it this past year, thank God she isn't too crazy with holidays but alas Kara Danvers is full on insane. Don't get me wrong she's my best friend but she goes full out. Every year she has this huge holiday party dressed to the nines in all things Christmas it's almost impossible how much she fits decorations she puts around her tiny apartment but her parties are always nice.

This year I decided to take y/n with me and she was excited. Y/n and I have been together for a year but she was still new around National city so she barley knew anyone so it was reasonable for her to let go of my hand and meet all of Kara's friends.

Meanwhile I watched from the kitchen as her small frame bounced around the apartment I was watching her so closely that I barley realized that Sam had walked up to me till she said something.

Sa:" Wow Lena, your girl is so sweet tell me how did you manage to get her" I blushed at Sam's question and laughs.

Le:"I don know Sam" I added looking over to my friend and smile, i have been doing that a lot smiling more it feels nice. Before Sam could add another comment y/n and Kara walk over arm and arm laughing. I look over to her and she smiles detaching from Kara and coming over to me planting a kiss on my lips, then walks back to Kara

Le:"Kara you're party is amazing as always" I comment she smiles proudly

Ka:"Thank you Lena, y/n and I were talking about how nice it is to see you in high spirit thanks to y/n" I see y/n turn red

Y/n:"It's cause I love her" I smile softly as my heart melts at the three words ie been dieing to here. She stops and goes silent

Le:"I love you too"
