No One's Pov:
Lena had yet another fight with her mother about joining her to fight, it left Lena even more broken. You hated seeing her like this not just as her friend but as her wife. You knew how Lillian would use her poisonous words to cut Lena deep.

You were coming to visit her at work when you saw her mother charge out of Lena's office as soon as she entered the elevator you full on ran into Lena's office slamming open the door and drawing her attention.

Lena's eyes were watery and as soon as she met your eyes the tears fell freely, you drop your things and rush over to your disgruntled wife and took her in your arms. She buried her head in your shoulder

Le: "She's right, I'll never be good enough " her voice was muffled in your shirt, you gently lift her head from your shoulder taking her face into your hands. 

Y/n: "don't you dare say that Lena Kieran Luther, don't even think that" she smiled at you softly but her eyes were still full of pain, you sigh.

You let go of her face and take her hands in yours, you lifted your left hand and flashed your wedding ring .

Y/n:"Do you see this ring right here" Lena smiles and nods

Le:"How couldn't I, it's fourteen carrots" you scoff

Y/n:"Yes but that's not what I meant, this ring right here is a promise to love you forever Le"

L:" I know tha-" you cut her off

Y/n:" that ring you're wearing means that you love me forever"

Y/n:" if you're not good enough then how do you explain this eternal love we share"

Le:" I-" again you cut her off

Y/n:" if you're not good enough then no one is, Lena Luther you are the sweetest and most kind person I have ever met, and if your mother can't see that then she's blind" this time Lena smiled sincerely and brought you into a kiss. Her lips melted into yours as you kissed back, it was short and sweet leaving you two resting your foreheads.

Le:" I love you so much y/n"

Y/n:" I love you too but the next time she does this I swear I'm going to fight the bitch" Lena giggled at your line you smile and laughed along with her.
