-Seventeen Soonyoung (Hoshi) and Chan (Dino
-Chan was acting strange; Soonyoung wanted to know why.

——

His dancing was off, everyone noticed. His focus was always on something else, everyone noticed. His attitude was always pungent, everyone noticed. His face was always low, everyone noticed. No one understood why, but they noticed. His quiet attitude was not ignore completely, as the entire group wanted to know why their youngest was acting strange.

His focus on eating was delayed, as well as his dancing and vocals. Everything was off and no one understood why. He ignored their questions, turning to no one in particular to push away.

Soonyoung didn't want to stand by and watch, so of course when they were sent back to their dorm at an earlier time, he took his chance and go Chan into their room.

"Chan, What is happening? I know I have asked you before, and I know we all have but I know there is something wrong. I'm worried!" Soonyoung said, standing in front of Chan's bed, where the younger sat with his hands in his lap, cris-cross on his blanket.

"Nothing's wrong, Soonyoung." The younger stared with a small sigh. Soonyoung shook his head and squatted closer to the younger's height. He looked into the sad ridden eyes of Chan and it broke his heart slightly.

"There is something wrong! I know there is, and I want to try and help you. You haven't been eating, sleeping much. You don't have a lot of energy. It's not only myself that has noticed. The others noticed on you lack of practice and your lack of trying. We aren't mad, just extremely worried." Soonyoung explained, gently resting his hand on the other's clamped ones. The younger shook his head, bottom lip quivering slightly as his eyes glossed over with tears. "Please." Soonyoung's voice was soft, flowing into the other's ears like when he sang.

The young boy shook his head, shaking in fear at the sudden clap of thunder from above in the angry sky. He quickly slipped his way out of bed and gripped his hair, passing back in forth by his bed. Soonyoung stood up, lightly grabbing Chan's wrists to stop his from ripping his hair out. The younger struggled but eventually was over powered by Soonyoung. His hands were powered down to his sides, in a gently manner as little drops of water fell gently from his red eyes.

"Don't cry." Soonyoung said, letting go of one hand to dry the younger's tears with his sleeve. Chan flinched away from the elders touch, slipping out of his grip and walking to the door of their bedroom. More thunder crashed from above and he shivered, just wanting to leave and get out of the dorm. He didn't care about the rain. He didn't care about anything at the moment; He just needed to get out.

He walked passed the other doors, walking past Mingyu who looked at him with concern. Soonyoung was walking behind him, trying to talk to him. The younger just shook his head, looking at his feet which were covered in gym shoes.

"Chan, please just talk to me. I want to help you." The elder called from behind. Chan ignored him and walked straight out of the door, fleeing from the front door. He bolted down the street, soaking wet as the pouring rain pounded to the ground with no mercy. His tears flowed with the same amount of force, the thunder above rattling his mind even more.

Back at the dorm, Soonyoung grabbed his jacket, Chan's jacket, two umbrellas, his phone and put his shoes on. Seungcheol walked out at the moment and gripped his arm.

"What are you doing?" He asked, his voice laced with confusion and his natural leader tone of 'what are you doing?'. Soonyoung sighed, shrugging as well.
