'OH MY GOD CAN YOU PEOPLE NOT WALK!' Paige practically screamed down the corridor. If you couldn't already tell, we were in the language corridor, and Paige was not the happiest.
Thankfully, she'd forgiven us for our downright awful actions in the morning and was now back to normal. Well, as normal as a girl screaming obscenities about rocks at a group of terrified year 7's you could get.
So, not exactly normal.
'MOVE.' The girl practically ran out of the corridor, completely terrified. Unfortunately, her friends had half of her intellect, and stayed to endure Paige's abuse.
I turned to her, 'Paige, do you need to scream at every living organism, or can we stop hurling abuse at the children?'
'What? They annoy me!'
'And you're annoying the rest of us' Bella chimed in from behind us, somehow shoving herself between two year 10s.
'Sorry.' She hurriedly apologised and fell into step next to us.
'Huh, fair point...I'll sto-HURRY UP YOU ACTUAL MUSHROOM'
'Mushroom? Seriously, insult of the year that Paige.' Katy said, laughing at her.
'What? Mushrooms can't walk, and neither can this lot. OW. THAT WAS MY TOE YOU COMPLETE AND UTTER TWIT' she practically roared, giving the coldest glare I'd ever witnessed to a quaking 12-year-old.
Grace just stared at her disbelievingly.
'Well, that worked really well. You're as quiet as a mouse! With foghorns on your feet.' She scoffed.
I attempted to push through the solid wall of sweaty year 10's and somehow managed to find myself in the classroom.
The wrong one though. How? I had no idea, still don't.
It was Mrs Hegarty's class, so it was all good. I had her last year, and she was a gem.
'Oh, erm hey miss! Quick question, do you have any tape for err'
What was his bloody name!?
'For Mr Michaels, or Mr Morris?' she prompted, her class was in the middle of the two observing me with amusement.
'Michaels, that's it! I mean, yes, Mr Michaels, the teacher whose name I remember very vividly' I replied, nodding my head totally convincingly.
She didn't buy it. Not surprised to be perfectly honest.
'Really? Well I think you should get to the correct class before the bell goes' she said, raising her eyebrows over her glasses.
I smiled sheepishly and went to leave, 'Thanks miss, bye!'
'Bye Al' she called from her desk, rolling her eyes not unkindly.
I sat down in the right class just as the bell went.
'Where the hell did you go?' Ellie asked, another one of my friends (god I was so popular *flicks hair annoyingly and it gets stuck on my glasses*) who sat next to me in French.
'I guess I sort of got...lost? Ish' I replied snickering quietly.
'Alex, be quiet, you were already nearly late!' Mr Michaels snapped, evidently in a foul mood.
'Yes sir, very sorry sir.' I emphasized, contorting my face into an apologetic one, until he turned around, then I did something I probably shouldn't have, causing Ellie to snicker.
