Chapter 14

Beth's POV

"Well I was really quick with the shopping but then this girl maddie came up to me , she if from our school I think but I haven't seen her !" I said whilst we were walking to the food court.

"Wait you said maddie !" Hayes said surprised

I nodded.

"What did she say !" He asked.

I felt it was embarrassing to say what she said .

"Oh nothing !" I said sitting on a chair in front of mcdonalds.

"So you are telling me she came up to you and said nothing !" He said not quiet believing me.

"Why do you care anyways !" I ask .

He paused.

I gave him a look.

"She was my ex!" He said .

I burst out laughing .

He stared at me.

"That's hilarious good joke !" I said.

"No I really mean it she was my ex until I dumped her a month ago!" He said blushing.

"Did you like her then!" I asked.

"Well she was the queen bee so everyone around us made us a couple I wasn't attracted to her in any way!" He said .

I decided to change to subject.

"Oh right I am just going to order food you coming !" I said.

I ordered chicken nuggets and fries and a fizzy drink or as Americans say it "soda or pop!"

I sat down smiling to my self like a idiot .

I looked at hayes ordering his food "he's so cute !" I said to myself .

"Who's so cute !" Hayes asked.

I blinked at him did I say that out loud , I blushed .

"Oh just my food !" I said.

"Ok then!" He said giving me a look
