maxx danziger. a drummer in a band who was secretly gay and crushing extremely hard on a certain singer. unfortunately, cody carson was straight... or so they both thought.
maxx sighed, waiting for his next notification of cody. they had been texting eachother throughout the whole date, even though it mentally tore maxx to shreds with the fact that cody would never see him in the same way. the heartbroken man was glad the two of them hadn't phone called eachother, because if they had, he would've been so embarrassed because of his 'pathetic' sobs. so embarrassed to the point where he wouldn't have ever spoken to cody and just avoided him for the rest of their lives.
even though it hurt, maxx was happy for shay and cody. he was glad the date was going smoothly, well, from maxx what had gathered. but he had never been on a date before so he didn't really know what's going well and what wasn't. but cody had said it was going great, so maxx took his word for it. he had been sent a few photos of the couple, and he had to admit, shay did look pretty, but not at all maxx's type, the complete opposite to what he liked, because he was gay. he never really liked girls that much, and even though he's never been in a relationship, he knew that he didn't want to be with a female.
-time skip (45 minutes)-
maxx decided to ask his best friend, josh dun, if he wanted to go to the beach to work on their photography skills, because both of the boys seemed to love it. luckily for maxx, josh was more than happy to go to the beach with him, which was a relief. he just needed a break from being cooped up in his bedroom with nothing to do but thinking how broken hearted he was since a few days ago, it just seemed that the pain was never ending for him, but he was glad to be meeting up with josh. he really needed to be sidetracked from the constant aching in his chest where his heart was now shattered into millions of pieces.
about 10 minutes later, josh had pulled up outside of maxx's house (which he also shared with cody, dan and zach) and beeped his horn. maxx was wearing striped white and blue t-shirt and denim shorts, completed with a black cap.

he admired himself in the mirror before grabbing his stuff to go meet josh in his car. the other man was wearing a vans t-shirt with black jeans, even though he'd probably get them wet by standing in the water.

"hi josh." maxx smiled as he climbed into the rather large car. "hey maxx. you got everything?" josh asked, making sure maxx hadn't forgotten anything. the other just nodded, and to the beach they went.
