Rain's POV

"Ah." I sighed, before I continued to walk up the driveway.

I had told Gunner to drop me off a few minutes from where the drive way began. I didn't want anything to happen to him since I knew Aaron would probably try to hurt him. After Gunner left I grab some dirt from the flowers and rubbed it on me, trying to make it look like I got lost. I messed up my hair, putting some dirt, leaves and pieces of grass in it. Now all I had to do was to play the part.

Some how I managed to cut around the back. I wanted to enter from the garden, that way it would be easier for me to get inside. Just as I turned a corner I spotted a man, Aaron, his back towards me. What's he doing outside?

"It's about time you returned. Don't you think so, Rain."

Eww, no. The way Aaron says my name makes me feel dirty. Like I just swam in a pile of trash, just to hop in some mud afterwords.

"Hehe, I got lost..." Please fall for it.

"Why are you lying to me?" Aaron turned around from where he was sitting and gave me a glare that sent chills up my spine. But I stood my ground, just because I'm not a vampire doesn't mean I have to crouch down and bow to him.

"Who says I'm lying." I smirked at him. I had proof. And Blake, his father was all I needed. Since I ditched Aaron and found Blake in the woods. I bet Blake would side with me, after all he was the last person that saw me, besides Gunner. "If you want, you can ask your dad. He'd probably tell you want happened."

"Fine. Let's go ask him." Aaron spat as he grabbed my arm, and started pulling me inside towards Blake's office.

What's up with people and pulling me? Like seriously, I'm not your doll or toy so knock it off! Plus I'm a human-wait scratch that, I'm a vampire just like them. Except I was a human a few weeks ago, but still that doesn't give anyone to throw me around like I'm a hot potato.

"Father!" Yelled Aaron as he barged in Blake's office. He threw me in front of him, I stumbled a few feet before recovering. "What happened between you two this afternoon? And do tell whether or not it explains for her coming home such a mess." I glared at him.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Blake ignored his son and focused his attention towards me.

"I ended up getting lost in the woods and eventually ended up a place farther then I was suppose to be. I then met a friendly wolf who gave me a ride back here, helping me find my way back home." Haha. I just noticed that my story sounded a lot like little red riding hood.

"That explains why you smell like wolf. I recommend that next time you be a bit more careful, even though it was both mine and your fault. And I do sincerely apologize. I'll make sure not make the same mistake of playing that game in such an unfamiliar area for you." Blake smiled and I looked at Aaron.

"Don't apologize, it was actually really fun. I got to bond with some of the nature here. How come no one told me that you guys had such a beautiful land?" It's true whenever I go somewhere people always tend to tell me what the land has, or it's specialty.

"Goodnight Aaron, Rain. I'll see the both of you tomorrow. It's about time you two go rest since you are going to have an important day tomorrow." Blake hurried us out of his office. The first thing I did was turning to tell Aaron 'I told you'.

"Yeah, whatever. Don't ever leave like that because then it'll be more work trying to find you." But for some reason I could hear a difference in his voice. Aaron began walking, but I wasn't done with him yet.
