Rain

Unbuckling my seat belt as fast as I could, I hopped out and began to run to Ava and Seth. My eyes started to water as I got closer to them. I just really missed them.

"Rain!" Ava and Seth both grinned as I embraced them into a hug.

"I was worried about you!" Ava cried out as she squeezed me. "I heard you passed out on he way to see Daisy."

"Yeah, but I'm all better now. Or at least I hope I'm better." My voice was filled with some happiness.

"Rain it seems your still you, if not then better." Seth winked as he walked over to me. In the process of doing so, he spread his arms only capture me in them. "Looks like you've finally made up your mind about someone."

Seth didn't speak the last part out loud, just loud enough for me to hear it.

"Eh, I guess you could say that. But who knows." I replied to him with the same volume. "My mind can always change, just as the seasons do."

"Seth." Aaron's voice rang in the air for a second or two before he continued. "What has happened since then?"

That's right! Aaron did leave the kingdom without telling it's citizens why. Oh God, this makes me feel bad for leaving in the first place.

"You two have an interview Monday with a reporter who's well known. Piper, I think that's her name." Seth's face made me laugh.

"Apparently she's not well known if you don't know her name." I replied to Seth. He got embarrassed.

All four of us headed inside the castle that I once thought to be huge. Now, it isn't huge, just empty. It was a feeling a didn't like.

We ended up sitting in the living room. I almost forgot they had one, since I've hardly spent time on the couch.

"Rain. I'd like to take Ava back to my kingdom."

"Don't you mean your house?" The two looked up at me as I had said that. "Bingo. But why you do feel the need to ask me? Isn't it Ava you should be asking?"

"About that-" I caught off Ava. Her voice was enough to tell me what she really wanted.

"Permission. You have my permission, but only on whatever makes you happier and your heartbeat faster. Therefore, if Seth does that to you, then feel free to go. I'm not your owner, just your friend."

"Rain!" She ran over to me with a smile. "Thank you!"

"Anytime miss! Now go and be free." I exaggerated more then I normally would. "You two should go out or something. Live life while the night is young people!"

"Oh really? Then what are you going to do Rain?" Hmm. What am I going to do?

"Probably watch Sponge bob for a bit and then go to bed." It's been a while since I've seen my little yellow sponge and starfish.

"Sponge bob?" Everyone laughed. "What are you five?" Aaron made a sneer remark.

"Maybe. I rather be a kid then an adult, because life isn't as hard that way." I accidentally blurted out without realizing what I just said. Aaron's eyes flickered, which meant that I hurt him. No one else must've realized that it did because Seth continued to talk as if nothing happened.

"We'll be on our way now!" Seth shouted out as he walked hand in hand with Ava. Once I heard the door shut I practically ran upstairs.

"It's finally good to be back home!" I spoke to myself. My feet had covered the stairs and brought me to face the door of my bedroom.
