Chapter Seventeen - Party Time

Rain

After having a good twenty minutes of dancing and singing in the car, mixed with picking places to eat at, we finally came to a draw. It had to do with something of the likes of rock-paper-scissors-shoot. And guess who won.

"Wow. I still can't believe you won, Logan." Jace pouted.

"I'm a bit surprised myself. Who knew I was still good at this? Not me that's who." I gave a small laugh as we pulled into the small diner place that won. It seemed cute. Its name was Happy's Diner. Original, I know.

"Here allow us, Princesses." Both the guys spoke at the same time as they each opened our door.

They helped us out, being careful not to have us fall. We all linked arms and walked in together. I was already having so much fun and it wasn't even time to celebrate for the party yet.

"Hello! Welcome to Happy's Diner!" A cheerful waitress welcomed us inside. She looked younger then us by a few years.

"Hi! A table for us four please, but if you have a booth that would awesome to!" I answered her with the same manners she show us. Politeness was my favorite thing, besides food and nature.

"Sure. Right this way please." She showed us a nice comfy booth that seemed to bed new. Maybe this place is new and that's why hardly anyone is here.

Our waitress, Cherry gave us menus which didn't include a lot, but more then enough for me. She left us alone to discuss what we wanted to order and went behind a counter to talk with other waitress.

"This place is so quiet." Once I let that out everyone sighed.

"It's cute, but why is it so empty?" Daisy eyes scanned the room only to find it empty.

"Well I've already decided what I want to eat." Jace licked him lips.

"Be nice." I told him as I punched his shoulder softly.

My eyes took every item on the menu and directly found something that sounded amazing. Chocolate melted lava cake.

"Are you guys done ordering?" Jace whined.

"I have." He waved his hand towards Cherry, grabbing her attention.

"You've decided already?" She smiled and made her way over towards us.

"Oh I'll take the lava melting cake with some milk please!" I shouted out in glee.

"Okay, and for you?" She gazed over to Daisy who said what she'd like same with the other two.

Our food took only about ten minutes to be prepare. It looked so freaking tasty.

"Thanks you for the food!" I said a bit loudly. I did it on purpose for different reasons., but mostly to give thanks.

Everyone began eating including myself. The food was pretty decent. Tasted a bit like Heaven, the chocolate that is.

After we each cleaned off our plates, I asked for the recite.

"How much is it?" Daisy and I went to the register, since the small diner was set up different.

"Oh. Don't worry about that. It's on us." Cherry was being too kind and I felt bad that she was.

"No. I have to paid, it's the least I can do Cherry."

"Please let us meet the chef too. I want to thank him for making such delicious food." Daisy smiled showing her pretty white teeth.

"Okay, you can meet the chef. But I still won't accept the money. You guys are our first customers after all." Cherry said this before going behind a door.
