Rain
"The last I saw him was by you." She paused before speaking again.
"I think he might be with his son, cause I don't see Aaron either."
Again just mentioning this mans name he appeared. I think I was the only one who caught him coming from the doors that lead outside.
Mentally rolling my eyes at so called Prince Charming, I excused myself from the two.
I hope the wedding didn't disappoint Blake. After all he looked forward to it the most.
Checking myself to make sure that I was doing the right thing, I continued by opening the door, leading myself outside.
"Hey mister." I said to Blake who was standing, staring off in the distance. He looked like he was trying to face someone that wasn't there. Facing me, My gaze caught Blake's. "You thinking of her?"
He nodded his head before sighing.
"It's times like this that bring back memories. Both good and bad, but mostly good ones." Taking this as my chance, I strolled over to him offering a hug. Which he did accept.
"I couldn't imagine what it's like. I know the feeling, but not that feeling."
I can relate by having a person who I loved and still do, not able to be part of the this world. But I could never possibly understand how it's like when the other half of your world and dreams, just disappears.
Blake pulled his eyes away from mine, and pushed them towards the sky. The stars lighting up his eyes as he stared off into the distance.
"Just being able to know that she's with the stars, gives me enough to keep going. As well as knowing that we'll soon be united once again."
"Until then, she'll be with you until you make your own way to the stars, joining her." I rubbed his back in a circle to show him that if he ever need to talk to someone about her, that I'm here.
"Thank you Princess." Blake offered me his arm, and I accepted by linking mine with his.We walked together back inside.
Aaron had told me that Blake was happy to know he had me as a daughter-in-law. But what made me smile is the fact that he wanted to dance a father daughter dance.
Even though I was a bit surprised at first, it made sense. You could say I was the daughter he never had a chance to have.
"Blake, would you like to dance with me?" He gave me his famous smile that showed his white teeth.
"Of course! It would be my honor." He lead us to the middle of the dance floor, gain attention from everyone. "Are you ready?"
With a simple nod of my head, we began to slowly dance. Blake was sure to make it easy for me so that I wouldn't get hurt.
"Sir, why are you so nice to me? Even when you first met me, why?" His eyes wondered around, like" if he was trying to find a reason he did not know.
"I'm nice to you since you helped someone I love. But that's not the only reason. You've also been quite nice to myself, willing to help me if I ever needed it." He was being truthful.
Someone he loves? And I know this person? Maybe it was a while back. And that could be why I don't remember this person.
Silence took over, filling the air between us with the beautiful song the violin.
The white lacy dress swaying with every step we took, and his body to guide mine. Our dance gained everyone's eyes on us with every move we made.
"Blake where did you find such beautiful songs?" I really wanted to know, that way I could listen to them more.
